LAN Mob League (LML) is a competitive gaming league based out of Rome, NY. Our purpose is to cultivate, improve, and promote the best local talent in competitive gaming. For as little as $10 you can earn your shot at video game sponsorship on a regional level! We accomplish this through a series of affordable weekly events that allow skilled gamers to earn money and advance through increasingly higher tournament levels. All events are cast live to our Twitch.tv channel, and power rankings are updated on our website following every event.

How does the ladder work?
We offer four tournament types spanning a range of buy-in levels - weekly, monthly, seasonal & yearly. Every tournament we offer provides some cash prizes and giveaways that scales with the number of entrants. In addition each tournament will award X number of seats to the next buy-in level. Example: our weekly tournament is a $10 buy-in awarding cash to top finishers, along with the top two winning seats to the monthly ($25 buy-in). Monthly events award seats to seasonals, which feed into our 16-player yearly finale to decide our sponsorships. After that we'll swag you out in LAN Mob's finest and ship you off to the big show with tears of pride in our eyes; our little LAN Mobber all grown up!

Our system is designed to quickly move top talent up to the next level to give everyone a fair chance. This means once a person has qualified for the monthly or seasonal they're inelligible to compete at lower levels until they've completed that monthly or season and the ladder has reset. In this way the weekly tournaments should get increasingly easier as the season moves on, allowing everyone a chance to improve their skills and climb up the ladder.
Do you offer a free friendlies night?
Yes, we love Smash and want to get people involved! Stop in Wednesdays from 6 - 8 pm to play for free and meet some of the local scene. Free pizza is available for early visitors!
Can I skip the ladder and buy-in directly?
Monthly and seasonal events can be bought into directly, but be warned - the prices will be increasingly higher. We encourage players to try to qualify their way up the ladder as it allows more time to improve skills and learn the local scene. The yearly event will be invitation only based on seasonal winners - sorry!
I've won a yearly seat via seasonal, can I still compete?
You may continue to compete for cash and fun, but will not be awarded additional yearly seats. Any yearly seats that would be awarded to you in subsequent seasonals will instead be awarded to the next placed person.
Are seats transferrable/refundable?
No, with the exception of if you can't make a monthly tournament, you may opt to play in another monthly as long as it falls within the same season (seasons are 3 months long).
Will this be streamed?
Yes! Every weekly, monthly, seasonal and yearly event will be streamed live to our Twitch.tv channel complete with in-house commentary. Highlights are cut and posted to Youtube to be shared with the world.
What are power rankings?
Winners photos will be posted to our website with a weekly update of power rankings based on our panel judges. There are no prizes for topping the power rankings for a week other than bragging rights to your friends/family!
What are the rules for Smash 4 tournaments?

LAN Mob Gaming Center is a LAN center dedicated to PC & console gaming. We offer 24 stations & all the latest games. We do lock-ins, midnight releases, private events, rotating weekly tournaments & more. We're also a regional carrier of BAWLS energy drink.
