Probably but it be hard to estimate the difference. Even so they made pretty good profit.

I feel like Gooey's kind of popular because Kirby's Dreamland 2 and 3 were pretty memorable. Dreamland 2 had the animal buddies and 3 had really good music, even more animals, and a unique artstyle. Both also had Dark Matter and some of the most memorable final boss battles of the series.

Dreamland 2 was my favorite gameboy game for a long time

I never had Dreamland 3 or knew about it until a lot later.

I went straight from Dreamland 2 to Kirby 64
