Michigan Melee Summer Circuit 2013
For the next few months, Michigan Melee is doing a statewide circuit! All tournaments will be Melee-focused with a possibility of PM/Brawl/64 on the side. With a circuit event every 2-3 weeks, there will be no shortage of playing time this summer. So come on out and fire up some games with us -- players of all levels, casual to competitive, are encouraged to participate.

Prizes
Each circuit event will take out $20 from its singles pot to go towards a circuit prize pool and also award points to players based on their Melee Singles placing as follows:
1st place: 10 points (increases to 15 points at circuit championship)
2nd place: 6 points (increases to 9 points at circuit championship)
3rd place: 4 points (increases to 6 points at circuit championship)
4th place: 2 points (increases to 3 points at circuit championship)
After the conclusion of the circuit championship, each player's final point total will consist of their four highest placings out of five possible placings. This is to allow everyone to "skip" one of the five circuit events without harm. Finally, the top two players with the highest final point totals will receive 70% and 30% of the circuit prize pool, respectively.
