*Disclaimer: Yes, I know there is another Meowth thread. But like Captain Toad's thread, Team Rocket's Meowth is a much different character; probably even more than C. Toad!

Team Rocket's Meowth Support Thread

Who is Meowth, and what's his past?

Meowth (Japanese: ニャース Nyarth) is a scratch cat Pokemon that works for the criminal organization Team Rocket. Meowth began as a infant, and always lived starving in a camp. Thinking it was food, he tipped over a bin full of Baseballs. As a punishment, they hung him on a tree. There, he got a good view of a Meowth being fed by it's family. Meowth saw this, and mistakenly thought that Hollywood was a paradise. Because of this, he ran to Hollywood. Meowth was a normal stray Meowth, and joined a gang led by a Persian. They stole food everyday, until one day he fell in love with the female Meowth named Meowzie. Meowzie rejected him due to him being poor and that she prefered humans. As a result, Meowth attempted to be more human-esque. He hid in a school's ceiling, where he learned how to walk upright and talk. When he went back, he was rejected again, this time for being a "freak". Meowth then joined Team Rocket, due to one of the first words he ever knew was "Rocket". Other notable events include him joining a gang, and reuniting with Meowzie. After joining Team Rocket, he became team mates with recruits Jessie and James. After turning into agents, they attacked a Pokemon Center in a attempt to hijack pokemon from a nearby Pokemon Center. They were stopped by Pikachu before they could steal any Pokemon, and because of this Pikachu and Meowth are rivals. On a later episode, the Rocket Trio head back to Hollywood where a movie is being premiered. there, Meowth reunites with Meowzie and his old gang. It is revealed Meowzie was forced to join the game after her trainer abandoned her. After battling with Persian for her freedom, it is revealed Meowzie is in love with Persian. They then return to their usual evil doings.

Meowth has an ambitious, conniving, and idealistic personality. He has made it his life goal to please Giovanni (or "Boss", as he and his teammates call Giovanni), and will stop at nothing to capture or steal useful or rare Pokémon, especially Ash's Pikachu, which he has been pursuing since he encountered him in Pokémon Emergency. Unlike most other Pokémon, who are not truly evil and will only commit evil deeds when ordered to do so, as stated by Jessie's Ekans in Island of the Giant Pokémon, Meowth is both perfectly capable of and willing to commit evil deeds without the aid of others. Meowth jumps into the balloon and says "Meowth! That's Right!" Meowth then controls the balloon. The machine that they use to grab Pikachu appears out of the balloon, with James controlling it. Meowth controls the balloon and the player can also control the machine. It can grab opponents and throw them off the screen, like a weaker master hand. At the end they explode, as Meowth flies up, before falling down to the stage. Jessie and James explode saying "We're blasting off again....!" before being Star KO'ed.

Read the disclaimer, lol. That Meowth is different in a sense where this one is Team Rocket's, theirs seems like a normal Meowth with Pay Day and all.
