First attempt at making a thread. I'm trying.
Who is Endou?
Endou Mamoru (named Mark Evans in non Japan regions), captain and goalkeeper of the Raimon Eleven and later Inazuma Japan, is the protagonist of the Level 5 made game, Inazuma Eleven. He is an avid fan of soccer, starting from when he first found his grandpa's secret notebook. He started the soccer club at his school, Raimon Jr High. He encountered many allies thanks to his soccer.
What is Inazuma Eleven?
Inazuma Eleven is a JRPG/soccer series on the DS, made by Level 5 (the creators of Professor Layton). In the main games, the gameplay is split into two parts. One resembles a traditional RPG, where you explore places, face challenges, and advance in the story. The other part are the matches, where you use the stylus to move your players, make passes, and pull off hissatsu techniques.
Why Should Endou be in Smash?
As for Endou himself, he could be a good contender for a spot on the roster due to his(or at least his game's) popularity and his moveset potential. He could use his different goalkeeper hissatsu techniques for his special attacks such as God Hand, Ijigen the Hand, etc. If he got in, he would be the first character from a sports game in Smash. The Inazuma Eleven franchise has had all of its main games and most of its spin-offs on Nintendo consoles.
That's all!
