Moveset Potential
While characters in Smash have had good grapple games we've not had a grapple focused character before. Marina has a lot of tech to get up close to her opponents and grab them. Her throws are unique in that she can throw her opponent in 8 directions rather than the usual 4 and her attacks can be canceled into her grab more easily than other characters. She can also summon enemies and projectiles from her game to toss at foes to help her approach. She is however very light and while she has great combos with her throws she lacks KO power.
B: Grab
Marina grabs and projectiles. A cross between villager's pocket and Mega Man's leaf shield as when holding a projectile Marina 's moveset is limited to moving, jumping and tossing the projectile away. She can toss the projectile in all 8 directions.
B Side: Jet Boost
Marina boost forwards and slightly upwards up to three times. She can only use it three times per jump. Does damage at the begingin of the attack, knocking the foe back minimally the first two time and high knock back on the third.
B Up: Clanball Toss
Marina summons a Clancerball that she uses to bounce her away from it. Leave her helpless afterwards.
B Down: Foe Toss
Marina pulls out a Clancer minion of the Empire from hammer space as a tossable item. Can only throw it in four directions unless she re-grabs it with her B attack.
Final Smash: Blockman Rises
Marina grabs on to her ally Teran and shakes him, turning him into the massive blockman. can be controlled to move left and right and does damage on impact.
