Iron Boots x 702 Connections have teamed up to enhance your monthly Smash Bros experience! Thanks to the folks at 702 Connections we will be changing our Venue to the Holiday Inn! Not only that but they are going to hook us up with 2 ports for fiber internet. So FM Smash will be streaming the melee goodness and Iron Boots will be streaming Smash 4 on their respective twitch pages! Not only that but RockStar Energy Drink will be in the house hooking us up with delicious energy drinks and prizes to give away too! (once we know with what it will be updated below under payouts)
Some things are changing so please see below:
If you are able, please go to our facebook event page and just click "join/going" and fill out our easy poll as "pre-reg" by telling us which games you plan to participate in and if you can bring a set up.
Venue fee: $0 - the kindness of 702 and IB has resulted in us charging no venue at all! However, to keep that in effect we please ask that participants please please please bring set ups and extension cords! We would like to have 10 of each and we currently have the following:
melee: 2/10 - 20xx is OK!
PM: 2/10 - must be updated to latest patch 3.5
Smash 4: 6/10 - must have GCN adaptor and latest character DLC
Don't have a full set up but want to help? Let us know! IB staff and other folks have extra gear that we could use to make full set ups! So please let us know and we can figure it out!

Want to see a smash game not listed above? Let us know! All we require is that at least 10 people who want to participate and who are willing to provide set ups. But please give us some notice so we can plan for space. We ask this be submitted at least 2 weeks before events.
Time: Doors open at 12pm, tournaments start at 2pm beginning with doubles. Our venue space ends at 12am, however the hotel is allowing us to stay later if needed.
We ask folks to please be patient with us the event. This will be the first real time we host doubles at a monthly. So please bear with us as we get this rolling for the first time.

When registering stop at the front desk. They'll ask for your name, tag, and what game(s) you want to participate in.
The bracket's will appear on Challonge and the link's will be provided a few days before so you can bookmark them into your phone or device.
Friendlies are welcome all day! However, tournament matches do take priority so we may ask you to stop your friendlies for a little while.
When tournaments are live and you feel you need to step away for whatever reason, just let your bracket manager know. They'll work with you to ensure you don't have your match skipped over. Help us, help you.
Money Matches - You can do these if you want, but staff isn't responsible for monitoring, recording, or keeping track of these matches.
Since there is no venue fee this is open to the public! So folks are welcome to come spectate and play Smash Bros for free all day! Just remember to BYOC we won't have extra controllers floating around. If you see folks looking to play with someone we encourage participants to reach out, have fun, and show other folks why smash is so fun!
Stations: We do our best to ensure most stations have minimal to no lag. We ask that when matches first begin to please play your matches at your assigned stations. As the tournament progresses we will move tournament matches to fewer stations.
Stream Station: There will be two station dedicated to streaming, one Melee and one Smash 4. If you do not want to play on a stream station, please let us know, however, we do ask that if we can't accomodate your request to be understanding. We will do our best to accomodate you though!
Note: Semi Finals, Finals, and Grand Finals will all take place on Stream Stations.
Feedback is always welcomed and encouraged! We pay close attention to the wants of community so please don't be afraid to give us some feedback!
The Gentleman's Rule is in effect for all tournaments.

Customs: Will be done using a universal agreed upon moveset that can be found on Smashboards so we will be following that as well. We are however leaving slots 7 and 8 open for those who have a unique moveset different from what is on the systems. Please note you must have your own 3DS available to upload that moveset. None of the Wii U's have all customs unlocked, we apologize about that.
