Project M Singles Tournament For Charity!

PikaCharity is teaming up with TkO Tournament Organizers to host a Super Smash Bros Tournament for charity. PikaCharity is a fundraising team that creates online videogame streams to fundraise for charity. We are also starting to do in-person events, such as this Smash tournament. The selected charity for donation will be voted on by the online community (please check out our website for more information @ www.pikacharity.org)

Price:
$12 Venue ($14 for non pre-register entries)
$8 Entry to Project M Singles Tournament

(there may be doubles/side events but space and time needed is still being figured out)

All venue fee proceeds will be donated to the charity chosen here http://www.pikacharity.org/vote.php

Pre-Registration may be required

Pre-registration ($20 total):
bit.ly/donatepikacharity
OR
Send paypal payments to pikacharity@gmail.com

The venue is at the Ridgefield Public Library in Ridgefield Connecticut.
The address is 472 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT 06877.

Because of the cost to rent the venue we may cancel the event or delay the event if enough money is not collected via pre-registration, if this occurs all refunds will be immediately issued.

Date
Saturday 7/12/2014

Prizes:
Prizes will be 60/30/10 split of the entry fee's

Schedule:
11:00- 12:00 - Registration
12:30 - 4:30 - Project M Tournament
5:30 - 7 - Finishing Project M Tourney / Friendlies / Possible 2nd Tournament (Singles Melee/Crew Battle) + Clean Up

A 2nd Tournament for singles melee will only occur if there is enough interest. Since it costs an extra $55 an hour for every hour after 7, there will be another entry cost for melee. If not, and if the Project M tourney finishes early, then we will run Friendlies until cleanup.

Also if you plan on bringing a set-up for Project M please let us know by commenting here. Your SD card must have the most up to date build of the offline version of Project M

Here are the rules we will be using

If you have any questions feel free to look on our website for more details:
pikacharity.org
or email us with any questions that cannot be answered in this event or on our website at:
pikacharity@gmail.com

please note all of these details are subject to change this is TkO's first charity event and Pikacharities first offline tournament and the details are still being worked out. We may also be looking into another venue but it will be very close to the current one if we are forced to change locations.

This event is being hosted in association with Technical Knockout TkO Tournament Organizers

The Ridgefield Library is not a sponsor for this event.
