Hitbox Arena announces its NEW weekly Smash 4 tournament - Smash 4 Wars

Starting out, Hitbox Arena will have 8 or more killer Wii U set-ups with super-fast Asus VN-247hp 1ms delay monitors wating and ready to go! Soon we will have 12 and Set-ups. So just bring your favorite Gamecube controller down begin the battle!

Every Tuesday, we will be running brackets for Smash 4 Singles...BUT we will also be using this event to focus on some of the more interesting and exciting game types now possible with this new Smash game, namely 4v4 and 2v2v2v2!

So gather your Smash Troops and form a Crew and head down to HBA for a night of Smash madness!

This is a new era for "Crew Battles" Now the Crew doesn't have to compete consecutively like to old days, but simultaneously!!! Nuts!

6:00pm - Doors Open
7:00pm - Smash 4 Singles
9:00pm - 4v4 or 2v2v2v2 (depending on participants)

Singles Entry: $7/player
4v4 & 2v2v2v2 Entry: $5/player
Venue fee: $7
(Friendlies only included with venue fee)

Rules for Singles:
-Event participants will choose whether is will be 2 or 3 stock. It will be put to an open vote. (Majority wins. TO breaks ties)
-If 2 stock, it will be 6 min matches
-If 3 stock, it will be 8 min matches
-Stage bans - TBD

Rules for 4v4:
-2 stocks/8 min
-Stage bans - TBD

Rules for 2v2v2v2:
-2 stocks/8 min
-Stage bans - TBD

Mii Fighter/Palutena Regulation:
-Mii's and Palutena are allowed, but for players using these 2 types of characters, they must declare which move sets they will using for the duration of the tournament. Players violating this regulation, will forfeit their match to the opposing player.
(Hitbox Arena, is doing its best to make Smash 4 as fair to ALL who participate. We will consider all opinions on this matter, but the tournament director reserves the right to make the final decision. Thank you)
