As a community I think it is important that we have an agreed upon language and pronunciation of words and names. For example, Isai is not pronounced 'Isiah' but instead 'EE-Sa-EE', however; the smash community has agreed upon calling him 'Isiah' to not cause confusion with different pronunciations. It may not be the way he wants to be known or even how his name is actually pronounced, but, like it or not, it is the way he is known. So I bring up a discussion on how we should pronounce KeroKeroppi. He says it rhymes with 'hero' but does anyone actually believe a guy who spends his life scourging the internet for animal pictures? I think 'Kero' should be pronounced so it sounds like 'kerosene'. How does everyone else pronounce it/wants it to be pronounced?

I think the K is supposed to be pronounced like "qu", as in "quack"

Huh, that's funny. I always pronounced his name as "banned (6 points)".

**** Kero's pronunciation, seriously. Rhymes with "Zero"? Literally worse than Hitler.

There should be an "edit" on the right of the poll title. If not, tell me what you want and I'll change it for you.

Should I infract kero for censor dodging? 5 positive answers or more and I'll do it. Let's see how faithful others are.
I can't for the life of me figure out how to edit these things. Add @ EggSelent EggSelent 's suggestion, "Sounds like 'QueeroQueeroppi'" and change "HeroHeroppi" to "ZeroZeroppi".

I don't see a reason to not infract him other than the fact that this thread may have instigated him and he was acting out of self-defense.

cobrevolution is clearly COB REVOLUTION. Get it right people.

I heard some called WHY-BOMB "ee-bomb" at Apex and it blew my mind.

Can we also settle the score on Isai? Most people say "eye-zay-uh," right?

Isn't karajan pronounced like Carrion (like Carry on my wayward Keyboard son or well dead animals.

Isai is ee sigh ee (long e's) if i remember right

It's kinda similar to the company I work for, Eisai (Ay zai ee)

KnitePhox is right. Its Spanish which typically means the vowels have set pronunciation and the accent is on the penultimate syllable. So it should be ee-sah-ee where the sah is emphasized unless noted otherwise by an accent mark which hasn't been made clear. Talking with him during breakfast at Apex he said this pronunciation was right, but he did have like three plates of fries in his mouth haha.

i thought isai had 2 syllables [i . sai], and that the stress was on the last one. and the spanish 'i' isn't the same as the english 'ee'.

a=ah
e=eh (canadian eh)
i=ee
o=oh
u=oooh

KeroKeroppi=QueeroQueeroppi

And I'm just going by what Isai said. Ask @jimmyjoe. He may have said the accent was on the last 'i' but I can't explicitly recall.
