Smash Apprentice
If Shulk does appear I think his trailer would have Link, Marth, Ike, Pit, and if he returns Metaknight clashing blades with each other only to be nearly hit by the Monado revealing Shulk.

The difference in reaction probably has more to do with the fact that Rhythm Fever is a series of mini-games and that the elements of the series could be handled in a number of ways depending on they it is happened. In the case of Animal Crossing in Brawl they did add an element without a character in the case of Resetti being an Assist Trophy. So it's very possible to pull elements without a character being playable it just depends on the nature of the game your dealing with.Thing about the Sneakiy Spirit is that it's such an odd choice. Why go for an enemy from a series that doesn't really have any enemies? The spirits themselves, in a traditional sense, aren't necessarily enemies in the one minigame they appeared in.
It's almost like trying to come up with an Animal Crossing enemy, it's really bizarre. Basically, what I'm trying to say here, having a Smash Run enemy of all things is pretty ridiculous for the series unless there's some context for it, and the only thing I can think of is a Rhythm Heaven character being playable.
It's like we're friends. <3
Oh I definitely get what you're coming from and agree. I get why those unfamiliar with the series might not find it questionable, I'm just stating what I think of the manner. Although I did find it odd that we saw a Rhythm Heaven enemy before a Xenoblade one, but I suppose what you said makes sense. The difference in reaction probably has more to do with the fact that Rhythm Fever is a series of mini-games and that the elements of the series could be handled in a number of ways depending on they it is happened. The question is more does it make sense to do that with one series over another. To be clear I have nothing against the idea of a RH character and would be welcome to it. I just think including something from Xenoblade straight out like that would raise a different context then what we saw here.
I thought we saw Skulltulas, but i could be wrong.Speaking of that; what series to we have confirmed enemies for? Here's what I can think of...
Mario: Bowser minions (Goombas, Kamek, Koopas)
DK: Tikis and Kremlings
Zelda: Stalfos
Pokemon: Various Pokemon (Gastly, Koffing, Chandelure)
Kid Icarus: A whole ton of things.
Pikmin: Bulborbs
Metroid: Kihunters
Rhythm Heaven: Sneaky Spirits
Megaman :Mets
Sanic: Egg Robos
Pac-man: Pookas (Technically Dig-Dug, but Namco, whatever.)
Smash Bros.: Subspace Baddies
Is there anything else? Some series, like Animal Crossing and Punch-Out!! it wouldn't make sense to have anything. Starfox and Fire Emblem have some choices. Aparoids, Risen, etc. Have we seen any of that yet?
Cool! Well alright then. Still no sign of anything from a series I didn't list? I find it especially sad there aren't any Risen there, but who knows how many there'll be in the final build...I thought we saw Skulltulas, but i could be wrong.
Why not Mega Man and ROB? Mechon after all.If Shulk does appear I think his trailer would have Link, Marth, Ike, Pit, and if he returns Metaknight clashing blades with each other only to be nearly hit by the Monado revealing Shulk.
Commenter: "Shulk, Smash Brothers. It's gonna happen."Well, looks like Chugga's LP has reached that part. Oh boy, here we go.

That's what I was thinking, like Megaman is just minding his own business then BAM! Shulk comes in as some Xenoblade music (take your pick of which track, can't go wrong) starts playing and just starts wrecking Megaman all over the place. Then during the rest of the trailer, the Xenoblade main cast is commenting on him joining smash like Doc Louis in Little Mac's and Pit and Viridi in Palutena's trailer. It would be glorious. Why not Mega Man and ROB? Mechon after all.
Animal Crossing could have cockroaches and bees.Speaking of that; what series to we have confirmed enemies for? Here's what I can think of...

Or debt.Animal Crossing could have cockroaches and bees.
We've seen a lot more than just stalfos for zeldaSpeaking of that; what series to we have confirmed enemies for? Here's what I can think of...

See, I never had a problem with the graphics, but I guess I never count graphics as a plus for any game unless it wants me to. Regardless, like has been said, they had to make alot of graphical sacrifices to make the game as big as it is on the Wii. I'm glad they did that really, and honestly it just doesn't bother me as a factor, and I feel like the game would've been weaker if they'd spent more resources to improve the graphics.Well, I happened across a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles today and It seems interesting. The story seems pretty engaging even from the beginning, and I haven't made played much but I'm liking it. The battle system seems odd, but I will adjust.
The graphics are pretty bad, though. Like really bad. (I've seen better graphics in wii games from 2006.)
Shulk seems okay so far, and I would probably be okay with his inclusion in Smash solely based on the fact that he has a British VA. I've yet to actually get into the Monado or into the game at all, but it seems promising based on my small amount of time with the game.
You posted today's video before me...Well, looks like Chugga's LP has reached that part. Oh boy, here we go.

I think that you'll like him more as time goes on. After a while, Shulk grew on me as one of my favorite video game characters of all-time.You know what, I think I want Shulk a lot more now after that episode. A lot more.
When I joined Smashboards, I basically thought, "Shulk would be kind of cool, I guess. He's got a cool beam sword and some neat powers. I don't particularly want him, but we could definitely get worse."You know what, I think I want Shulk a lot more now after that episode. A lot more.
Your rank make me do a double take.I didn't know Shulk had a British accent?

I played fully as Shulk.Just out of curiosity, did you guys play as Shulk for most of the game? I pretty much only played as him. I think there were a few instances where I was Melia though
I played as Dunban and Seven a lot once they were available to be honest. I've tried to balance out who I play as and have in my immediate party, but its difficult. Riki's the one I haven't really played much with.Just out of curiosity, did you guys play as Shulk for most of the game? I pretty much only played as him. I've played as no one but Shulk throughout the whole game. I only started to play as other characters when I started New Game Plus.Just out of curiosity, did you guys play as Shulk for most of the game? I pretty much only played as him. I think there were a few instances where I was Melia though
I honestly don't think they'll go with after the end of the game Shulk more like Shulk as soon as he gets the Monado.Shulk will obviously be revealed in a trailer where he has to fight Palutena, and maybe Zelda or Gannondorf. Because spoilers.
Understood. It was just not what I was expecting, it likely won't affect my enjoyment of the game.See, I never had a problem with the graphics, but I guess I never count graphics as a plus for any game unless it wants me to. Not only graphical sacrifices either, they cut out a full area. They really made full use of the disk. (You might have known that already, I was just pointing it out to aid your argument.) And even though the game does have PS2 graphics when you get close up, my lord the views are absolutely stunning. It is such a beautiful game, I'm pretty sure my eyes would explode from being unable to comprehend how gorgeous it is if it ever got an HD update.See, I never had a problem with the graphics, but I guess I never count graphics as a plus for any game unless it wants me to. I played as Reyn really early on (like first visit to Tephra Cave early) because I didn't understand the concept of not spamming all my arts at once. After that, though, I played exclusively as Shulk until the boss battle in the heart. I just couldn't beat that maining as Shulk, (or with Shulk in the party at all), so I tried Melia out and fell in love with playing as her. I pretty much played as her up until the final phase of the final boss after that, heh. Now that I'm on different playthroughs I switch between characters a lot more, though. Riki's fun to use.Just out of curiosity, did you guys play as Shulk for most of the game? I pretty much only played as him. I think there were a few instances where I was Melia though
On my first playthrough, I was only ever Shulk. Shulk all day every day. On all my other playthroughs I still mostly play as Shulk, but I play as all the others as well. Except Sharla. Nothing against Sharla herself, I'd just rather be attacking than being the medic.Just out of curiosity, did you guys play as Shulk for most of the game? I pretty much only played as him. That would be one of the ways Jenna could voice Melia as well. This is the point in the game that turned me into a diehard Xenoblade fan. Liek if u cry everytim

At first I didn't get what Riki was good for.I used Riki a lot tbqh.
Made the game interesting, that's for sure.
I wasn't sure why people liked Xenoblade (I'm really not a fan of huge RPGs because I find them tedious).Well, looks like Chugga's LP has reached that part. Oh boy, here we go.
It's a bit hard to find in the States (though your location says Canada...don't know if Canada's in the same boat as the US) due to (iirc) the fact that they didn't anticipate the sales they'd get. I know in the US, Gamestop exclusively sells it but it can be found on EBay/Amazon. I don't know if there's a company that has exclusive rights in Canada, but Ebay or Amazon would be a good place to look.I wasn't sure why people liked Xenoblade (I'm really not a fan of huge RPGs because I find them tedious).
But... that scene. Just... wow.
Shulk get in this game already!
I'm a supporter now.
Any ideas on how to get a hold of this game? I need it now.
