You have 30 minutes to go eat, so eat your food where you got it.

So does Melee actually happen at these monthlies?
No only because none of the people who actually play melee show up. We've had melee happen once and it was by a stroke of luck too. We has people from MS, AL, and FL show up. It was good monthly. Since then, no. It'd be nice if I could get some melee people hyped for this.

It's meta-hybrid. He's banned unless both players agree that he can be used. There hasn't been one Get Hype I've run with meta-hybrid where MK hasn't been used. Pip and Gunner are the only two MK players that actually show up and every get hype either one of them was able to use MK quite a bit. So I'd encourage you to come to this if you can still make it, if not the next one.

Not to my knowledge. It's just that situation where, out of all the people who show up (which is like 15), only one or two of them actually play MK, so it's not a big deal whether or not he's used. The rule is there so I can encourage people who wouldn't come because of MK legal to attend, but also to give MK players incentive to come because at least they'd have the opportunity to play MK. I find it's a fair compromise. Even if someone did use the rule because they didn't want to play against MK, it's fair, because that's the provision the rule provides.
