Does anyone know what the formula is for freeze frames in this game? I'm having a hard time figuring it out.

You should have posted this in the mechanics thread here: http://smashboards.com/threads/mechanics-techniques-discussion.368206/

Hitlag = ((d/2.6)+5)*h*e

d = Attack Damage
h = Hitlag Modifier
e = 1.5 if the attack is electric, else 1

Additionally, moves with hitlag modifiers above 1.25 have the modifier divided by 1.25, to a minimum of 1, when they hit a shield.

Example 1: Marth's tipped ftilt hitting an unshielded opponent.

d = 12
h = 1.25
e = 1

((12/2.6)+5)*1.25*1 = 12

Example 2: Ryu's light ftilt hitting a shielded opponent.

d = 6.8
h = 1.8 (divided by 1.25, so actually 1.44)
e = 1

((6.8/2.6)+5)*1.44*1 = 10
