As the day begins to close, paranoia tightly coils around what remains of the group. It becomes apparent that something strange is going on. Some of the members must, indeed, be more than what they appear to be. The perpetual question is: who?

One way to find out.

Potassium lifts his tome and reads from it aloud. Gusts of air begin to fling the pages about, yet Potassium continues the spell with practiced precision. The gust grows into a proper cyclone, lifting Death Mountain into the air and allowing gravity to pull him back down to the ground from a height impossible to survive.

Death Mountain (Gerome, Town Wyvern Rider) has been killed!

Potassium's Elwind broke!

Night 2 Begins! Deadline is set for Saturday, November 9th, at 10:00pm EST.

The group awoke to another body stinking up the place.

Kary (Inigo, Town Mercenary) has been killed!

Someone's Levin Sword broke!

Uh-oh! Looks like the group no longer has sufficient numbers and equipment to combat the threat of the Grimleal.

Red Ryu (Kjelle, Town Knight) has been endgamed!

Potassium (Laurent, Town Mage) has been endgamed!

Xastrn (Nah, Town Manakete) has been endgamed!

Sokr (Cynthia, Town Pegasus Knight) has been endgamed!

Brady, Yarne and Owain were not who they appeared to be....

dabuz (Validar, Mafia Sorcerer) survives and wins in endgame!

Zen (Aversa, Mafia Dark Flier) survives and wins in endgame!

FullMetalLynch (Gangrel, Mafia Trickster) survives and wins in endgame!

Darkness engulfs the land and evil prevails!

May post role PMs and such tomorrow, but I suspect you guys will talk this out and I won't have to. Feel free to let your feelings out.

I'll offer insight where applicable, when I can.

I'll admit two things.

1) I overreacted completely in that situation that lead me to be shot. I am sincerely apologetic and I need to be more stable with my emotions, no matter what personal circumstance I am in.

2) I admit I didn't keep up that much after my death. I don't know how this happened but back from back-talk in the Green Room between Raz/Circus I was getting tidbits of inofmration.

Despite this, there is something I won't admit, and that is my own play beyond the meltdown. I will not sit here and be berated by a certain someone just because my ideals and how I play doesn't fit what think is townie. And in the end, I don't have anything else to say beyond that, because the rest speaks for itself.

Huh? I know the game was basically over anyway but technically speaking, town had 4 weapons left and needed 4 attacks to win.

Anyway, really interesting setup, would like to see something like this again. Didn't mind how swingy it is since that's part of the fun, but town shouldn't be put into Lylo by D2. Perhaps 13 people with Morgan as one of the townies or as an indy?

My role was basically a 1 shot BP (hence why Lucina/ Soup had the Falchion with a class ability to go through BP) and I started with Grima's truth, an unbreakable tome. Gave the tome to Zen N1 so he could kill 2 people without breaking any weapons.

Not gonna lie, don't see how anyone read Ran/ DM as scum, and there didn't seem to be a clear case against them.

Soup dying D1 REALLY screwed over town.

Zen MVP for saving FML Day 2 and basically causing Soup to self destruct D1.

Shoutout to Xastrn for having a really good case on FML, seems like Xast's earlier play made people hesitant to go along with it though. If RR or Kary made the case I think town would have been much more eager to shoot FML.

I love the ideas and the effort Jerkus put into it though, and I really like how he was going for something different. I'm ashamed that the trading mechanic and everything else wasn't properly used, and the fact people were allowed to just open-quote things from partnerships. I also don't like how literally scum has a one-shot two-kill that's just...really out there.

I think in a normal game it would be fine, but with the weapon system it was a bit crazy. A mislynch Day 1, unless hitting RR's attack protection, meant town is down almost half of their weapons.

it only worked with workable weapons and with the first kill going through. unfortunately me and zen hammered out everything at night perfectly.

No they don't. Town has two weapons. Kantrip could theoretically acquire Bolganone for a third, but they can't attack 4 times. Game's over.

@Soup: I agree that town losing after 2 Nights is not great. I'll highlight the fact that all of town's safeguards (you, Raz and Kary) were killed before any of you even got to attack.

The set-up is pretty swingy. Had town killed either Zen or FML on D2 rather than DM, things could have gone VERY differently. Momentum would have completely swung in town's favor.

There are several things I would do differently if I were to run something like this again, but I'll don't feel like getting really deeply into it right now. Two things I'll say for now:

1. Would make specific note that quoting chat logs is not allowed, and probably wouldn't allow the quoting of private communication from Pairs Ups either (paraphrasing would be fine).
2. Scum couldn't attack during the Day. In the original setup, this was made abundantly clear in the OP. Marshy suggested leaving it ambiguous instead. In light of the way the game played out, not sure that was best. Part of me still likes that idea that players who Daykill get cleared, but (in most cases) lose their weapon. Would love to hear thoughts on that.

Scum played well. Certain townies played well in certain scenarios, but ultimately made bad decisions. Will dig into this more when I'm feeling up to it. Considering givine MVP to Zen. He played well while taking some serious risks that really paid off.

You didn't deserve to be shot, I thought that was ridiculous. I don't think you should have claimed, really, but I don't really have any problems with your play other than that.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but you town-slipped on page 1 when you said mafia don't have night kills. I would have pointed it out sooner had I thought you were actually in danger of being shot.

I want Zen to know I was incredibly close to shooting him. Like, I had a post with the bolded command to shoot him as soon as Kary separated, then faltered and told Sokr to quickshoot him instead if Ran flipped town. I was mostly scared of the chance of being wrong and having town jumping on me for making an individual decision.

I also came incredibly close to shooting FML. Fuuuuuuuuuck this game
