We are pleased to officially announce GUMS 06, which will take place on Feb 27th, 2016!
PLEASE NOTE that we have moved up the starting times for Doubles and Singles by an hour each! This is to compensate for the HUGE turnouts we have been getting!
Doors will be open at 11:00 AM
Venue Fee is $5 (waived if you bring a setup!)
Doubles bracket is $10 per TEAM
Singles bracket is $10 per PERSON
Doubles signups will close at 12:00 PM, and will start shorty after
Singles signups will close at 3:00 PM, and will start shorty after
Payout for DOUBLES will be:
1st 60% of Entrance Fees
2nd 25% of Entrance Fees
3rd 10% of Entrance Fees
4th 5% of Entrance Fees
Payout for SINGLES will be:
If over 100 players:
1st Place – 50% of Entrance Fees
2nd Place – 20% of Entrance Fees
3rd Place – 13% of Entrance Fees
4th Place – 7% of Entrance Fees
5th Place (tie) – 3% of Entrance Fees EACH
7th Place (tie) – 2% of Entrance Fees EACH
If under 100 players:
1st 60% of Entrance Fees
2nd 25% of Entrance Fees
3rd 10% of Entrance Fees
4th 5% of Entrance Fees
Seeding will use a combination of the NEW NE PR (coming tomorrow), GU's final PR for Season 4, and regional results for players who do not usually attend GU.
IF WE EXCEED 128 PLAYERS we will be running pools. There will be 16 pools of 8+ players each. The top 2 players of each pool will advance to top 32, one on winners side and one on losers side. Losing in pools counts as one of your two "losses" to be eliminated from the bracket.
