This will be another installment of the Play n' Trade tournaments that have been held in the past. This event will focus on Smash 4! Specifically Smash 4 for the Wii U. This is the first time running this event at this location so i hope for a big turnout!

Now there will be a few things different about this tournament so bare with us. At this tournament we have all the TVs needed and a total of 4 Wii U's with the game, but what we short is the Wii U gamecube adapters, so it will help greatly (in fact the function of this tournament relies on) if you all bringing an adapter or being able to play with a controller of other needs.

As for the other event that will be very exciting is, an Amiibo smack-down! The venue this event will take place in has been training their Amiibo in order to fight with others, they will be offering a prize to those who's Amiibo can beat their own. Everyone will get a chance, and if we have enough setups and enough time, there is the possibility for an Amiibo tournament of their own! The same rules would apply as if it were a regular tournament except these Amiibos obviously have stat boosts. So, bring your Amiibo for a chance to win some secret special prize!

Venue
Play n' Trade game shop: Shores Shopping Center, 31049 Harper Avenue, Saint Clair Shores, MI 48082
It is in the same shopping center of Kroger between 12 and 13 mile road on Harper, it is right next to the retro fitness.

Price

$10 entree fee. ($5 venue, $5 pot)
$5 for Amiibo fight tournament (no cost for the fight on the venues amiibo)

Times
Registration: 3:00
Smash 4 singles: 4:00
Amiibo fights: no set time, will take place just before finals.

Rules
We will be using the Apex 2015 ruleset, if this is not official im sorry... but this is what we are going with.
A. Game Settings

● Stock and time are set to 2 stock and 6 minutes for Singles
● Stock and time are set to 3 stock and 8 minutes for Doubles
● Custom Fighters are set to off
● Mii Fighters are legal. Each setup will have a 1111 Mii
Brawler/Swordsman/Gunner available for use (Using Default A Mii).
No other specials for Mii Fighters will be allowed. Players are not
allowed to transfer existing Miis to a setup.

B. Stage List

Starter Stages
● Battlefield
● Final Destination
● Smashville

Counterpick Stages
● Castle Siege
● Delfino Plaza
● Duck Hunt
● Halberd
● Kongo Jungle 64
● Lylat Cruise
● Town & City
● Omega Stages*
* Treated as Final Destination in banning phase. If Final Destination is
banned, Omegas are banned and vice versa.

C. Additional Rules

● Stage Striking: The player with port priority strikes one stage from
the Starter Stage list. Then the other player strikes one stage and
the remaining stage is used for the first match.

● Stage Clause: You cannot counterpick a stage that has already
been played on in the set.

● Stage Bans: During the stage ban phase, the player who won the
previous game may ban 2 stages from either the Starter of
Counterpick lists.

● Bowser Jr’s Clown Car Glitch: If the Bowser Jr.’s Clown Car Glitch
happens, players are to pause the match and call a TO or a referee
over to confirm the glitch has happened. Once confirmed, players
will reset the match to the same stocks and get as close to the
percents as they had when the Glitch took place. (The Bowser Jr.
Clown Car Glitch happens when the car respawns after using Up B
right before the player loses their stock. The character starts to
teleport around, also hit boxes and animations for Bowser Jr.
change.)

● Red and Blue are to be used as the two team colors during doubles
matches.
*Again i will state, there will be no use of Custom characters but you may use the default Miis.

I cannot stress enough how much we need the Gamecube adapters, please bring them even if you do not bring a setup. We do ask that you bring a full setup but before you bring it in you come in and ask us.

They always run Smash 4 and PM Singles. They alternate doing doubles for each event. So one week will have both singles events and Smash 4 doubles and the other will have both singles events and PM doubles. They host two tournaments a month, usually as biweeklies.
