Vintage Creep
Smash Master
Event mode! Such a fun and satisfying addition in Melee, such a disappointing and useless part in Brawl!
Let's have some F.U.N. (don't know what it stands for) inventing some events of our own then. Your only limit is basically the imagination, I'll give you some examples, follow these lines:
Title of the event: an event needs a catchy phony cheesy title doesn't it?
Description: brief and concise, without instructions of some sort
Playable character: the one you're gonna use! Doesn't need to be one in particular, or one already appeared in Smash, still let's try to put only meaningful characters all right? Goku & Co. are banned
Enemy: the characters you're gonna fight
Game mode: could be a simple match, or something crazier (even new why not)
Stage: self-explanatory right?
Notes: if the event needs further explanations
Unlockables: if there are any
Here are the ones I made:

Vs: Masahiro Sakurai in Mii form
Game mode: special home-run contest.
Stage: home-run contest.
Notes: in this match you fight against a defenseless Sakurai-Mii which tries to escape while continuously tripping. You can beat him as much as you want for 15 seconds, then he stops and you have to hit him to launch him as far as you can with the home run bat. Sakurai can't be pushed outside the platform before the time runs out. Sakurai is also mysteriously holding his right arm in pain.
Unlockable: launch Sakurai at least 1500 feet away and you get Set A for Mii's customization.

Game mode: one-stock
Stage: Gyromite (revamped old NES stage like 75m or Mario Bros., with the only exit on the high part)
Notes: Player 1, which controls R.O.B., needs to collect batteries throughout the level. He can't jump, he can only attack and climb ropes. The other player with the Gamepad has on the screen only two buttons: one red and one blue. Each of them activates the pillars in the stage, helping R.O.B. on his quest. Collect all the batteries to complete the event and save R.O.B.'s life (sorta)!

Stage: Cerulean Cave
Notes: you and the Jigglypuff are at level 5, Mewtwo is at level 70! Thank Arceus there are a whole bunch of rare candies in this level. Escape Mewtwo's attacks and eat them all to at least reach his level and have a chance against him! Don't worry about the Jigglys...

Notes: use Luigi's new down+B to suck all Boos with your Poltergust 4000! Don't forget that normal attacks don't affect ghosts... You have only one minute before the eclipse arrives and dark swallows the entire Mushroom Kingdom. After that, it's just you, King Boo, and a very dark mansion...

Notes: the stage has two different sets of boxes in the opposite sides. Everyone is of a different color. You need to throw a Pikmin of the respective color in the box, 10 Pikmins per box will give you the victory. Louie won't attack you, but you can still try to disturb him...
Unlockable: Louie
Event N.9 - Hey Einstein, I'm On Your Side!
The StarFox team needs your help to capture a dangerous criminal. Look out for friendly fire though.
Playable: Samus Aran
Vs: Wolf O' Donnell

Vs: Donkey Kong, Mario, Link, Fox McCloud, Captain Falcon, Captain Olimar

Playable: King Dedede (can be played in co-op with another Dedede)
Vs: Mr. Resetti
Game mode: one-minute time limit
Stage: Smashville 2
Notes: this isn't an actual fight. Mr. Resetti will pop up from the ground starting to talk like he always does, without attacking you. You'll need to use your hammer to bash him underground as many times as you can! Attacks not involving your hammer won't work.
Unlockable: hit Mr. Resetti at least 25 times to unlock Smashville from SSBB
Event N.12 - Unmasked

Wait! Wasn't this Super Smash Bros.? Well, better adapt fast...
Playable: anyone (you choose)
Vs: Yoshimitsu
Game mode: Tekken Ball, 3-stock
Stage: Heavenly/Fallen Garden (random, like Mushroomy Kingdom) (from Tekken Tag Tournament 2)
Notes: it is by all means Tekken Ball for Super Smash Bros. Build up the ball's power and hit your opponent with it! You can't hit the opponent directly.
Unlockable: Tekken Ball mode in multiplayer
Event N.15 - Defying The Laws Of Physics
Defeat all your arch-nemesis... and Nature itself!
Playable: Mario
Vs: Bowser, Bowser Jr, Wario
Game mode: 3-stock for Mario, 2-stock for everyone else
Stage: Comet Observatory
Notes: the gravity will continuously randomly change throughout the match. One moment you're light like a feather, the moment after that you're heavy like a rock. If Mario Galaxy taught you something...
Event N.16 - Red Herring
You must defeat your inner self to clear this event, Professor!
Playable: Professor Layton
Vs: Professor Layton (dark silhouette)
Game mode: 1-stock
Stage: Monte D'Or
Notes: winning the battle won't get you clear the event. As always in a Layton's puzzle, you have to use your brains! In fact, the only way to defeat your "inner self", is by committing suicide and losing your life voluntarily. Getting knocked out by your opponent isn't considered a victory. If you lose and then choose to retry, you'll lose a bunch of "picarats", and the message "Maybe you should try to understand what inner self really means..." will appear. This is just an easter egg and won't preclude you from unlock anything in particular.
Unlockable: Professor Layton and Monte D'Or
Event N.17 - My Kingdom For A Trophy
Princesses, princesses everywhere! Choose your favorite.
Playable: Peach, Zelda/Sheik, Palutena or Lucina (you choose)

Unlockables: a trophy of the castle/realm/galleon of the character you chose.
Event N.19 - Siblings Or Rivals?
Challenge your sister on a run to the giant condor!
Playable: Popo (you're alone!)
Vs: Nana
Game mode: infinite lives
Stage: Mountain 1
Notes: this is not a battle. You just have to run through the first level of the original Ice Climber all by yourself and touch the condor before Nana. Normally, this level goes up by itself like Icicle Mountain in Melee, but for this event the camera will follow you. You can hurt Nana and push her down, but neither of you can actually die.
Unlockable: Mountain 1
Event N.20 - All-Stars Match 2: Third Party Invasion
Who invited these guys? Better show 'em who's boss here.
Playable: Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, Samus Aran
Vs: Sonic, Megaman, Pac-Man, Yoshimitsu, Snake
Game mode: 5-stock
Stage: Green Hill Zone, Central Highway, Pac-Man Arcade, Heavenly/Fallen Garden, Shadow Moses Island
Notes: it's a single battle. You have five stocks in total and you start with Mario Vs Sonic. Every time someone gets knocked out it will be substituted with the next one in the team. Every time an opponent gets knocked out you will get to the next stage, with the same energy obviously.
Event N.21 - DuckWars (Wii U Gamepad and co-op required)
A wolf against a dog... With a bunch of angry ducks in the way. Team up with your friend for this.
Playable: Lucario
Vs: Duck Hunt Dog
Game mode: 3-stock
Stage: Hunting Grass (from Duck Hunt)
Notes: player 1 controls Lucario and simply tries to win against the Dog. Player 2 must help by using the Gamepad as a Zapper and shooting the ducks in the level, all of which are allied against Lucario (they'll hit him like Pit's centurions). Curiously, it seems that the Dog and the ducks succeeded to overcome their rivalry and they're friends in this game...
Unlockable: Duck Hunt Dog
Event N.22 - Eggs In The Basket
Kamek wants to use your eggs for an omelette, Yoshi. Villainy enough, uh? In a minute or so she'll get bored anyway.
Playable: Yoshi
Vs: Kamek
Game mode: 2-minutes time limit, infinite lives
Stage: Yoshi's Island (Sm4sh version)
Notes: In opposite sides of the level there are two baskets. The left one is Yoshi's and has three eggs inside, the right one is Kamek's and it's empty. Kamek's objective is to take the eggs and bring them to her basket. At the end of the two minutes, all the eggs must be in yours or you'll lose. Remember not to throw the eggs or they'll break!
Event N.23 - You Cannot Grasp The True Form Of Gyigas' Attack!
Experience one of the most frightening final boss ever, if you can.
Playable: Ness and Jeff (co-op available)
Vs: Porky (Brawl's boss), Giygas (stage, Sm4sh's boss)
Game mode: 3-stock per character, Porky has 500 HP, Giygas has 1500 HP
Stage: Giygas
Notes: the first part of the event is Brawl's Porky, plain and simple. The stage doesn't have any platform, you're just standing in front of Giygas' as a background. After defeating Porky he will just mock you and you'll have to hit Giygas itself while the battle becomes more unbearable with noises, flashes like in Mother's ending. Only PSI's special attacks will work in this part.
Unlockables: Set A for stages customization (including Giygas' background).
Event N.24 - Grass > Water > Fire
Captain Olimar is grass-type. King K. Rool is water-type. Bowser is fire-type. That's all you need to know.
Playable: Pokémon Trainer (Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard)
Vs: Captain Olimar, King K. Rool and Bowser
Game mode: 3 vs 1, the Trainer has 4 lives, all others 2 lives
Stage: Pokémon Stadium 3
Notes: you can damage only the opponent of the opposite type as the pokémon you're controlling. For example Squirtle will damage only Bowser. You can still hit everyone else but the damage meter won't get higher. A true challenge!
Unlockable: Pokémon Stadium (Melee), Pokémon Stadium 2 (Brawl)
Event N.25 - Rampaging Sauria
An unknown race of dinosaur is destroying the peaceful village of the Earthwalkers! The StarFox Team intervenes!
Playable: Fox McCloud, Falco Lombardi, Krystal (co-op possible)
Vs: Ridley (giant)
Game mode: 3 vs 1, Ridley has three lives, all others only one
Stage: ThornTail Hollow (StarFox Adventures)
Notes: Ridley is trying to destroy every breakable part of the stage. You need to stop him before he succeeds. The broken parts won't repair itself like it happens in simple multiplayer matches. Additionally, Ridley is bigger and stronger than usual and has more lives than you.
Unlockable: Krystal, ThornTail Hollow
Event N.26 – Find Your Own Element
What are Young Link and Ganondorf doing in a Pokémon Stadium? Well, by the way, consider that every time the Stadium changes, only one of your transformations will work.
Playable: Young Link (with Zora, Goron and Deku form)
Vs: Ganondorf
Game mode: 1 vs 1, you have 2 lives, Ganondorf 3
Stage: Pokémon Stadium (Melee)
Notes: in the normal form the battle doesn't present any differences. But the Stadium can transform into water, grass, fire and ground types. When it's in water form, all Link's transformation except the Zora one won't do much damage (1% max), and only the Zora form will make the same damages. The same works with the ground type (with Goron being the strong form) and grass type (with Deku being the one). Ganondorf won't change at all except with the fire type, when he'll double his strenght.
Event N. 27 – Bo-Bombs For Throwing At You
It seems like a normal match, but Bowser seems in the mood to help his son...
Playable: Wario
Vs: Bowser Jr and Bowser (special form on the Koopa Klown Car)
Game mode: 1 vs 1, 3 lives each
Stage: Bowser's Castle
Notes: Bowser will perpetually be in his final smash form, meaning he will be on his Klown Car dropping bombs to the ground. Bowser Jr. will be immune to those. If you're good though, you can use the bombs at your advantage.
Event. N. 28 – Morning Glory
It's time to get moving as always to stay healthy. Your inner competition gick kicks in though: will you be able to beat the fastest creature alive?
Playable: Wii Fit Trainer
Vs: Sonic
Game mode: infinite lives
Stage: special version of Free Run
Notes: this stage is similar to Melee's Adventure Mode stage of F-Zero. You'll have to reach the goal before Sonic. To beat him, you'll have to use the Bunny Hoods you'll find along the way. He won't attack you, nor he will pick up that item. He'll just run like hell!
Unlockable: Free Run
Event N. 29 – Right Back At Ya!
Smashville is under attack! Defend your city using only the items thrown at you!
Playable: Villager
Vs: three random characters
Game mode: 3 vs 1, all have two lives
Stage: Smashville II
Notes: use your pick-up move to throw back all the items. The opponents will attack you only by throwing items at you.
Unlockable: 10 random alternate costumes for Villager
Event N. 30 – All-Stars Match 3: Vade Retro
It's the 80's all over again! Show 'em who's boss nowadays!
Playable: Shulk, Villager, Wonder Red, Wii Fit Trainer, Dillon
Vs: Ice Climbers, Mach Rider, Takamaru, Duck Hunt Dog, Mr. Game & Watch
Stage: Mountain 1, Earth 2112, Takamaru's Castle, Hunting Grass, Flat Zone
Game mode: 5-stock
Notes: it's a single battle. You have five stocks in total and you start with Shulk Vs Ice Climbers. Every time someone gets knocked out it will be substituted with the next one in the team. Every time an opponent gets knocked out you will get to the next stage, with the same energy obviously.
Unlockable: alternate game menu designed to have both retro visuals and audio!
Event N. 31 – I'm Feeling Kinda Flat Today...
This seems like a simple match. Wait, what's that invisible force hitting you?
Playable: Luigi
Vs: Mario & Mr. Game & Watch
Stage: Flat Zone 2
Game mode: 3-stock
Notes: this is a big brain buster. When your 3D on the 3DS is on, you'll be able to see only Mario. When it's off, you'll be able to see only Mr. Game & Watch! Continue to go back and forth between dimensions and prevail!
Unlockable: Connect your game to the WiiU to transfer exclusive Mr. Game & Watch stickers of many of his incarnations.
Event N. 32 – Triple Deluxe
You don't want to end up like Kirby's enemies, right? You won't be sucked! Umh...
Playable: Yoshi
Vs: Kirby, Kirby with Meta Knight's hat, Kirby with King Dedede's hat
Stage: Green Greens (Melee)
Game mode: 3 vs 1, Mega Man has 2 lives, all others have 1
Notes: Just defeat the enemies, but if the normal Kirby manages to swallow you, you lose!
Unlockable: Connect your game to the 3DS to transfer exclusive Kirby trophies representing all of his transformations in Super Smash Bros.!
Event N. 33 – FIOOOOOOORAAAAAAAAAAAA!
The Mechonis are attacking! Defend Fiora and win this battle!
Playable: Shulk (can be played in co-op with Fiora)
Vs: 25 R.O.B.s, 25 Mega Mans, Metal Face (boss)
Stage: Eryth Sea
Game mode: battle royale, Shulk and Fiora have 3 lives
Notes: if you play in single mode, Fiora will be played by the CPU. If Fiora dies, you'll lose the match. All Assist Trophies are of Reyn, Dunban, Sharla, Melia or Riki. After eliminating the 50 weak enemies, Metal Face will show up.
Unlockable: Bionis' Leg stage
Event N. 34 – MetroidMania
Remember when you lost all your upgrades at the beginning of the game? Well, it happened again...
Playable: Zero Suit Samus / Samus Aran
Vs: Metroids, Ridley, Kraid (boss), Mother Brain (boss)
Stage: special Retro Brinstar stage
Game mode: 5-stock
Notes: this is not an event match... This is an adventure! You start as ZSS in a stage which is similar to the Zelda stage in Melee's Adventure mode. It's a big dungeon which develops in 5 different branches, all of them including a room with an upgrade. These are: the Varia Suit, the Charge Beam, the Bombs, the Missiles and the Spin Attack, in this order. You'll have to reach these rooms in order where you'll have to win a big fight, the first two against a bunch of Metroid, the third against a one-stock Ridley, the fourth against Kraid and the last one against Mother Brain. The first time you'll unlock the Varia Suit but you won't have the power ups (meaning the special B moves). Once you unlock the Varia Suit, you'll be able to get through a flaming room to get to the Charge Beam and so on. After beating Mother Brain, you'll have to escape the dungeon similarly to the Metroid stage in Melee's Adventure. It's Super Metroid all over again!
Unlockable: Phazon Suit alternate costume
Event N. 35 – A New Sheriff In Town
A weird guy has a nice girl as hostage and is stealing all the village's money! Teach him a lesson!
Playable: Dillon
Vs: Wario
Stage: Railroad (from Dillon's Rolling Western)
Game mode: coin mode
Notes: Peach is in the background, tied up on the railroad, unable to move. You have only two minutes before the train arrives and gets her! During this time, retrieve the money Wario took by beating him! Get at least 1000 coins in two minutes to win the match.
Event N.36 – Bushidō: The Way Of The Samurai
The loser commits seppuku. It's not only a match for your honor, it's for your life!
Playable: Yoshimitsu or Takamaru (you choose)

Game mode: 3-stock
Unlockables: an alternate costume for the character who wins, simple as that.
Event N.37 – The Infiltration
Snake was almost kicked out of the party! Sneak back in without getting caught!
Playable: Solid Snake
Vs: various enemies
Stage: special Shadow Moses Island
Game mode: one-stock
Notes: Snake has 999% of damage. The stage is a scrolling one similar to Mushroomy Kingdom, only filled with enemies and lights. The enemies walk back and forth and see you only if they stare directly at you. When Snake is caught by the lights or by them, an exclamation mark appears on his head and one simple hit can kill him. Get to the end without getting caught.
Unlockable: Raiden is now an Assist Trophy
Event N.38 – Cat Fight... In Space
Peach is trying to call dibs on Mario. Show her you're the new princess in town!
Playable: Rosalina & Luma
Vs: Peach
Stage: Mario Galaxy
Game mode: infinite lives
Notes: this is not a simple match. At the two corners of the stage there are two big launch star like in the Mario Galaxy games: the one in the left is blue and Rosalina's, the one on the right is pink and Peach's. Mario is present on the stage and simply runs away from both Rosalina and Peach. Your goal is to throw Mario in the blue star anyway you can, but if Peach manages to do that before you, she'll win that italian plumber for life!
Event N.39 – Diamond City Lights
That Wario guy... Now Mona fell in one of his traps. Resist as much as you can!
Playable: Mona
Vs: /
Stage: Wario Ware 2
Game mode: endless match
Notes: Mona is alone on the new Wario Ware stage. She can't do anything but win the minigames of the stage and resist as much as she can! They become faster and harder with time, obviously...
Unlockable: resist for at least 20 minigames to unlock Wario Ware (Brawl).
Event N.40 – All-Stars Match 4: Attack Of The No-More Clones
People thought they couldn't distinguish themselves... It's time to settle things.
Playable: Luigi, Falco, Ganondorf, Roy, Lucas
Vs: Mario, Fox, Captain Falcon, Marth, Ness
Stage: Mario Bros. (Brawl), Corneria (Melee), Fire Field, Castle Siege (Brawl), Fourside (Melee)
Game mode: one-stock

Unlockable: get a perfect 5/5 wins to unlock a Shiny Pichu trophy. He's still a clone...

Follow the Doc's rules for this event and you'll be OK. Maybe he will let you taste his chocolate bar too!
Playable: Little Mac
Vs: King K. Rool in his boxing attire
Stage: The Ring
Game mode: two-stock
Notes: the Doc will be in the background and a window will pop up on the top of the screen with his instructions. Little Mac will deal damage only under those rules. For example, the Doc will tell you to hit King K. Rool while he's in the air, or only with a special attack, and so on...
Unlockable: King K. Rool's alternate costume
Event N.42 – Hyrule Fried Chicken
This event will make you hungry. Only the Fire Flower can kill the Cuccos!
Playable: Link & Toon Link (in co-op)
Vs: a bunch of Cuccos and a Mega Cucco
Stage: Skyloft
Game mode: two-stock
Notes: you can hit the Cuccos but the only way to get rid of them is frying them with a Fire Flower. They will attack you similar to the Centurions in Pit's final smash. The last Cucco is as big as Bowser and will be much stronger.
Event N.43 – The Spectacular Return Of The Metal Bros.
These powerful characters were absent since Melee! There's a surprise this time around though!
Playable: Sonic
Vs: Metal Mario, Metal Luigi, Metal Giga Bowser
Stage: Battlefield
Game mode: two-stock
Notes: the Bros. enter the fight in a cutscene similar to the one in Melee's Adventure. You have one minute to beat them, or Metal Giga Bowser will join the fight as well. He is basically impossible to defeat without luck, so you better hurry.
Unlockable: Giga Bowser trophy
Event N.44 – Formula Rambi
DK bet you can't beat him in a race against him and Rambi! Prove him wrong!
Playable: Diddy Kong & Dixie Kong
Vs: a bunch of enemies
Stage: Sunset Shore
Game mode: stamina
Notes: DK is not present on the stage per se, but will be on top of Rambi on a platform in the background. Your objective is to reach the end of the stage before him. Normally, the camera is automatic but this time will follow Diddy & Dixie. Various enemies will try to stop you, while DK will lose time breaking crates and rocks along the way.
Event N.45 – Viewtiful Red
A bunch of villains teamed up against you! Only your final smash will stop 'em.
Playable: Wonder Red
Vs: Ganondorf, Deathborn, Captain Falcon in his Blood Falcon attire
Stage: Operation 001-C
Game mode: two-stock
Notes: obtain the Final Smash to defeat the characters. The dragon bosses in the background will also attack anyone without logic.
Unlockable: Operation 001-C
Event N.46 – Puffballs Unite! Again!
Is this a nightmare, or a dream? Your skill will determine that.
Playable: Meta Knight
Vs: every Kirby transformation in the game
Stage: Whispy Woods
Game mode: Meta Knight has three lives, the other just one
Notes: the only detail is that the last Kirby, the one with Meta Knight's hat, is stronger and bigger than the others.
Event N.47 – The Sleep Of Fairies
Jigglypuff must put to sleep every one of her opponents at the same time! That's almost impossible though... Umh, this is a brainy one, uh?
Playable: Jigglypuff
Vs: Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard
Stage: Pokémon Stadium 3
Game mode: Jigglypuff has two stock, the others have infinite lives
Notes: to complete the event, Jigglypuff must perform her Sing special move during the Fairy type transformation of the stage. The attack will be amplified and all characters will fall asleep at the same time, winning the event.
Unlockable: Igglybuff alternate costume
Event N.48 – The Laguz Rebellion
Win these three consecutive matches to demonstrate the Beorc supremacy.
Playable: Ike, Roy, Lucina
Vs: Falco, Ridley, Bowser, Wolf, Lucario, Mewtwo
Stage: Castle Siege (Brawl), Plegia Castle, Arena Ferox
Game mode: one-stock
Notes: the player controls three characters in three different matches. The first is Ike Vs Falco (which represents the Bird Tribe of the Laguz). The second is Roy Vs Ridley and Bowser (which represent the Dragon Tribe). The last one is Lucina Vs Wolf, Lucario and Mewtwo (which represent the Beast Tribe). Win all three to clear the event.
Unlockable: alternate costumes for all three playable characters.
Event N.49 – Fast Like A Ninja, Lethal Like A Sheikah
Snake's mission has apparently failed. It's time for a real secret agent to step in and rescue him.
Playable: Sheik
Vs: various enemies
Stage: special Shadow Moses Island
Game mode: one-stock, limited time
Notes: this event is a sequel to Event N.37. It works in a similar way but with a few differences. Sheik has to run through the same level which is designed in a slightly different way. Lights and enemies' stare still make the mission failing, so Sheik must not get caught. Sheik though can use her normal B move to launch her needles. It's the only way to disharm the enemies: if Sheik hits them from the back, they fall like asleep and not move again. This move is sometimes required, for example to activate a button with their sleeping bodies and continue the mission. At the end, Sheik gets into a room where she finds Snake hidden inside his box. Hit him to scare him and win the event. Sheik has three minutes to complete it, and can't transform into Zelda.
Event N.50 – All-Stars Match 5: Misters In Distress
These gals don't need to be saved no more. Show 'em who's got balls!
Playable: Peach, Zelda, Palutena, Lucina, Fiora, Wii Fit Trainer

Event N.51 – Every Puzzle Has An Answer (co-op required)
A treasure has been stolen! There are three suspects. Your assistant, Luke Triton, will have to help you dig hints on the GamePad to find the right culprit.
Playable: Player 1 plays Professor Layton, Player 2 uses the GamePad
Vs: three random characters out of the full roster
Stage: Azran Shrine
Game mode: one-stock
Notes: this is a very complicated event. Of the three enemies to defeat, only one will give you victory, the other two will bring failure. To find who you have to kill, player 2 will have to touch around the stage on the GamePad, searching for hints. This won't affect the match, but sometimes, if he touches in the right place, a hint coin will pop up. There are a total of five hint coins hidden in the level, and each of them suggests who is the guilty fella. Let's say for example Mario stole the treasure: in that case, the first coin will be vague and useless and say “The thief is one of the enemies!”, the third coin would say “The thief is male!”, the last coin would say “The thief wears a red hat!”... Obviously you could just kill one random enemy and if you're lucky you'll win, but what's the fun in that? Also, you'll have to trust your assistant. He could direct you to the wrong culprit!
Unlockable: Azran Shrine
Event N.52 – Building The Perfect Machine
Regain all of Mega Man's power and defeat your enemy!
Playable: Mega Man
Vs: Spark Man, Flame Man, Charge Man, Metal Man, Crash Man, Wood Man, Dr. Wily
Stage: special Dr. Wily's Castle stage
Game mode: five-stock
Notes: this event is similar to event N.34: MetroidMania. Mega Man starts the adventure without all of his specials except the Rush Coil and without the possibility of doing Smash attacks. He will find himself in a stage similar to the Zelda one in the Adventure Mode of Melee. At the beginning, he can choose to go in three different directions where he'll meet Spark Man, Flame Man and Charge Man. By defeating them using only his normal moves, he'll regain all of his Smash attacks. After that, a door will open and he will find himself in another zone, where he'll meet Metal Man, Crash Man and Wood Man in three different locations. By beating them, he'll regain his special attacks that will give him the possibility to reach the final part of the level, where he'll fight Dr. Wily in boss mode. Defeat everyone to beat the event!
Unlockable: Mega Man X alternate costume

Event N.54 – Event Horizon
Icarus tried to touch the Sun... Some things are better left alone.
Playable: Captain Falcon
Vs: Sonic
Stage: Mute City (Melee)
Game mode: 5-minute match
Notes: you start the event match at an incredibly slow pace. The game moves at 1% of the normal velocity of the game. As time passes, the game becomes faster and faster, until it reaches the normal velocity exactly at half of the match (at 2.30 minutes). Then, exponentially, it's going to move faster than that. And faster. And faster. The first and last minutes are virtually unplayable. Stack up less deaths and more KO's than your enemy, and never look back.
Event N.55 – PG-13
For all ages!
Playable: Bayonetta
Vs: Ness, Lucas, Villager
Stage: The Vestibule
Game mode: two-stock

Wait, is this still a fighting game? We're surely reaching new heights...
Playable: Pit
Vs: various enemies, Pseudo-Palutena
Stage: special Palutena's Temple stage
Game mode: three-stock
Notes: the rules have been changed a lot this time. Pit has the ability to jump continuously into the air without falling, giving basically the ability to fly. The first part of the stage involves him jumping in the air in a place without platforms, killing various enemies while doing it. Palutena is talking to him like they did in Uprising, asking him to reach her to her Temple. When you finally do it, it's revealed that it was Pseudo-Palutena all along and you have to fight her.
Unlockable: Pseudo-Palutena alternate costume for Palutena.

Stage: Prism Tower
Game mode: two-stock
Notes: every time Pikachu does his down-B, the attack will be incredibly more powerful since ten thunders will hit the stage at different times and in different places, even far away from Pikachu. The thunders will be much more powerful in damage dealt too, since a couple of them can easily kill you. Run away and defeat the enemy.
Event N. 59 – Nature Has An Order... Let Them Fight
There's nothing you can do. No place you can hide. No time to run away.
Playable: Captain Olimar & Pikmin (smallest possible)
Vs: Bowser and Donkey Kong (4 times bigger than normal)

Event N.3 - GHWF: Green Hill Wildlife Fund

The other player with the Gamepad has on the screen only two buttons: one red and one blue. Each of them activates the pillars in the stage, helping R.O.B. on his quest. Collect all the batteries to complete the event and save R.O.B.'s life (sorta)!

Challenge your sister on a run to the giant condor!
Playable: Popo (you're alone!)
Vs: Nana
Game mode: infinite lives
Stage: Mountain 1
Notes: this is not a battle. You just have to run through the first level of the original Ice Climber all by yourself and touch the condor before Nana. Normally, this level goes up by itself like Icicle Mountain in Melee, but for this event the camera will follow you. You can hurt Nana and push her down, but neither of you can actually die.
Unlockable: Mountain 1

Playable: Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, Samus Aran
Vs: Sonic, Megaman, Pac-Man, Yoshimitsu, Snake
Game mode: 5-stock
Stage: Green Hill Zone, Central Highway, Pac-Man Arcade, Heavenly/Fallen Garden, Shadow Moses Island

Vs: Mario, Link, Pit, Marth, Shulk, Mii
Stage: Peach's Castle (Melee), Skyloft, Reset Bomb Forest, Arena Ferox, Bionis' Leg, Wii Fit
Game mode: one-stock
Unlockable: alternate female costumes for Villager
Event N.53 – Now You See Me
Who is the best ninja? Wait, where are the ninjas?
Playable: you choose
Vs: Greninja and Sheik (invisible)
Stage: Kalos Pokémon League or Skyloft
Game mode: two-stock
Notes: pick a fighter and defeat the enemies. They are COMPLETELY invisible. This is seriously a very hard event.
Unlockable: alternate costumes for Greninja and Sheik
Event N.54 – Event Horizon
Icarus tried to touch the Sun... Some things are better left alone.
Playable: Captain Falcon
Vs: Sonic
Stage: Mute City (Melee)
Game mode: 5-minute match
Notes: you start the event match at an incredibly slow pace. The game moves at 1% of the normal velocity of the game. As time passes, the game becomes faster and faster, until it reaches the normal velocity exactly at half of the match (at 2.30 minutes). Then, exponentially, it's going to move faster than that. And faster. And faster. The first and last minutes are virtually unplayable. Stack up less deaths and more KO's than your enemy, and never look back.
Event N.55 – PG-13
For all ages!
Playable: Bayonetta
Vs: Ness, Lucas, Villager
Stage: The Vestibule
Game mode: two-stock
Notes: defeat the characters by using your final smash, which makes Bayonetta almost completely naked. There is no other way to eliminate the opponents.
Unlockables: alternate costumes for all the characters involved.
Event N.56 – I'll Give You My Power Of Fright!
Event N.57 – Mario Kart TV Special Report
Don't let that Blue Shell put you down!
Playable: Mario, Wario or Luigi
Vs: Peach, Bowser, Rosalina & Luma
Stage: Rainbow Road
Game mode: three-stock
Notes: this is a themed match. The only available items are: Super Mushroom, Super Star, Lightning Bolt, Fire Flower, Green Shell, Red Shell, Blue Shell, Banana Peel, Super Leaf.
Unlockable: alternate skin for Rainbow Road to resemble the SNES version.
Event N.58 – I Sing The Body Electric
There's a storm coming! Protect yourself from those thunders!
Playable: Greninja
Vs: Pikachu
Stage: Fourside (Melee)
Game mode: one-stock
Notes: neither Bowser or Donkey Kong will ever attack you. They will battle each other fiercely. If they hit by mistake just once though, you'll receive 999% of damage and die instantly. You have to run away, avoid their attacks, and survive this Kaiju battle. Who will be the King of the Monsters?
Event N.60 – All-Stars Match 6: Gotta Hunt Them All!
I don't train. I hunt. I am already the very best there will ever be.
Playable: Monster Hunter
Vs: Pikachu, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Lucario, Greninja, Giant Pichu
Stage: special Pokémon Stadium stage with all transformations
Game mode: you have three-stock, all the others just one
Unlockables: special alternate outfits for the Monster Hunter which resemble the Pokémons you just defeated.
