Dark Pit's Alts.

So hey, I've been mad busy lately with work (yeah it's still kinda new to me) so I haven't been able to keep up with the many, many streams that have been going on. Any chance that anyone has shown off Dark Pit's alternate colors?

There's black, (dur) white, dark red, purple, and some dark blue/green color off the top of my head.

First we need to have the new character Light-Dark Pit (or Gray Pit) to debut in Kid Icarus: Downfall. Something like that.

I saw somewhere that a rumored Kid Icarus sequel (most likely fake) would have it that Pit is banned from Skyworld and he was branded with a tattoo as punishment. It sounded pretty cool but it's no doubt fake. Probably just some random fanfiction.

That's an odd way too look at it. I get more of a Fire Emblem vibe from it. Maybe Marth? Maybe Ike?

I have to admit: the blue haired, dark skinned Dark Pit is looking really good.

The far right is the best by far. Somehow that bluish hair compliments the red-black clothes nicely.

Oh god, I remember that rumor. The Factor 5 rumor, I think it was called. They turned Pit into this buff grown man too .__.

I'm glad they're not afraid to change hair color for some of these. I'm a little disappointed my prediction didn't come true that his alts would be based on the Uprising cast like Hades, Pyrrhon, Chariot Master, and so on.
The far right one looks to be based off of someone though. Can't put my finger on it though...

As much as I love my alts, I can't bring myself to play as a lightly colored Dark Pit. It just seems off. The one that I'm using is the green one since it's only his scarf area that changes to a brighter color and the rest of his outfit is dark green.

I will echo praise for the final one though. Its probably my 3rd favorite (after Green and Default).

His white color looks more like "Angry Pit" than Dark Pit. Maybe is an American boxart Pit?.
Me? Im digging the tanned Dark Pits and the blue haired one (whatever helps me differentiate DP more from Pit). Especially the 7th one which I shall call "Pitro".

I really like the red coloration, the blood red wings look so much more sinister than the blackish ones, and I think they would help him stand out more from Pit if they were both in the same battle. He looks better with tanned skin though, I wish more of his colors had it

What is your favourite Palette Swap for Dark Pit


(A little odd that a palette swap gets his own palette swaps )

#1. 4th palette is best palette in my honest opinion (I don't understand why it's called a Yellow palette when it clearly looks a bit Brown in some areas (scarf and wings clearly shows that), the 3DS clearly has it as a Brown/Yellow mix that closely resembles Gold when zoomed out on some stages, regardless it's my favorite out of the bunch and is my most used palette).
#2. The 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th palettes are all pretty good and get about as much use as my primary color.
#3. The 3rd alt is just plain awesome, although it reminds me of Falco's own Black alt in the same game due to the very similar black/red look they both have.
#4 2nd palette I use for special occasions or for when I'm bored.

I'm pretty sure that the Pittoo alt with dark skin, and wears red and black is based off of Magnus, either that or Hades.

I always found it weird that they gave him an alt skin with darker skin.

I like the dark skin with blue hair outfit because it reminds me of some type of style in Japan called "ganguro," which is hilarious.

Girls will get super tan with pale lips. Look it up at your own discretion, but it's super funny.
