Darth Rancorous came to Colorado and played thegreginator and skamastaG. We “only” had enough discs to record about 5 hours of play so here are the videos below. Watch in 1080p!

Note that in every video 1p = thegreginator, 2p = skamastaG, 3p = Darth Rancorous

EXTENDED 12-Character Battle
This is played like a normal 12 character battle except the play ends when the second (winning) player uses all 12 characters. This of course forces the losing player to go through the full character rotation more than once (or more than twice xP). A “score” can be calculated to see how well the winning player did: how many characters did the losing player have to go through until the winner used all 12? The benefit of this style of 12-character battle is that if the winning player is only good with a few characters, he will still be held accountable for his bad characters later in the match. Especially because these bad characters will make an appearance when the losing player is on his second rotation and thus can reuse all his best characters. This makes for some closer and more entertaining matchups.

TRIPLE 12-Character Battle [King of the Hill]
This is a way to play with 3 people. The rules are simple. Two people play, and the winner gets a point and gets to keep playing. The third player then jumps in to play the winner, taking the loser’s spot. Stocks carry over between games. When the losing player runs out of characters, he is eliminated and the remaining two players 1 vs. 1 for more points until one of them runs out of characters (so the winner will not have used all 12 of his characters). Alternate (quicker or longer) version can be to just play first to X points.

2nd: Darth Rancorous – 8 wins
3rd: skamastaG – 7 wins

This wasn’t recorded, but thought I would post the rules in case people wanna try it. It was a lot of fun.

That kirby vs fox and kirby ditto was possibly the most boring/gayest (not in any specific order) thing I've watched in my life, I swear I saw more gay rainbows flying out of that match than watching MATTS! put on his coolface when he utilts.

i just got done going through them all. one thing that i noticed tho, the 4th match in the random matches section (u DK vs me link) is not me, thats skamastaG.

overall, those were some pretty epic matches. we definitely need to play again sometime.
