Characters you love in their series-- but don't want in Smash...

Like the title says, who do you love in their own game series, but don't support the inclusion of as a playable character in SSB4?

For me, the main one is Tetra.
I LOVE Tetra in the Wind Waker. But in Smash Bros? I just cant picture her with a great moveset, and I wouldn't want her in over certain other Zelda characters such as Midna, Ghirahim, Impa, Vaati, Zant, Yuga, Ravio, Hilda, and Fi.

Per series, there are more:
Mario: Toad and Daisy
I'd always play as Blue Toad in the Mario Bros games.
And the Captain Toad minigames were some of the most memorable parts of 3D World.
My favorite characters in Super Sluggers are Blue Toad, Purple Toad, and Daisy.
I'd always play as Toad + Toadette in Double Dash.
I only play as Daisy in Strikers Charged and the Mario Party series
But... I just cannot support them for Smash Bros.
After Rosalina, my #1 choice for a Mario rep, a #2 most wanted in general, I cannot support any Mario character.
But these 2 I have never supported.
Their moveset potential does not interest me at all, and I think of neither as fighters.
DK: King K Rool
I do like the character, I do. When not arguing about him. But I do not want him in Smash Bros.
Yes, I'm one of those 5 people on this planet that wants K Rool to stay away from Smash Bros.
His boss fights never interested me, but he is the best DK villain. And should be treated as such.
But the thing is, I don't want a DK villain in Smash Bros, I want a DK female in Smash Bros.
Dixie Kong is my choice for a DK character, K Rool just doesn't interest me as a playable character.
Usually character movesets can make me a supporter, but I haven't seen anything to change my mind.
Zelda: Tetra
She's an amazing character. But she's on the top of my list for the reasons above.
Fire Emblem: Lyn
Currently playing her game as I'm making this thread.
My love for the character Lyn is high... but I want the Fire Emblem characters chosen for Smash Bros 4 to be in Awakening.
Tiki, Anna, Lucina, and Chrom are my picks.
And next comes:
Fire Emblem contd: Robin and Micaiah
My Fire Emblem roster used to be Marth, Chrom, Lyn, Micaiah.
But I now like other characters more because of Awakening. I also feel confident in the return of Ike.
I'd love to see Lyn in Smash Bros with the Mani Katti... that would be awesome... but she's just not extremely unique.
She got an Assist in Brawl, I wanted her playable then, but she doesn't have a new game.
She still gets love, so I see an 80% chance of her as an assist. But that's all.
If she got a new game, I'd want her again. Same goes for Micaiah. I want an Awakening character.
And I'm not talking about DLC. The main game.
She and Robin are plenty unique, I just support other characters I'd miss if these 3 were included.
I named my unit in Lyn's game Robin, it just fits
But I have almost no interest to play as him/her in SSB4.
Robin is somewhat likely though, and is my 5th choice. No negativity here.

Remember, this thread is all about giving love to the characters you don't support, but do have a personal attachment to.
Toad, Daisy, King K Rool, Tetra, Lyn, Robin, and Micaiah are my top 7.

And how should the poll selection be fixed? It's very heavily based upon certain series. And has no characters from others due to limited space... how should I divide up the poll slots?

Daisy comes off the top of my head. Unlike most people, I do like Daisy, but I would hate for her to get into Smash. She's incredibly undeserving...
I also like Shadow the Hedgehog, but I would hate it if he got in Smash over more deserving characters.

Agreed. I like Galacta Knight too, but for Smash, not so much.

Understandable.
I think this is what most people think of Ghirahim.
I feel hopeful for the character, but he has competition in Toon Zelda.

Some hate her for this, but I find it hilarious. And I agree on the undeserving part.
I had to cut Shadow from the poll to add a space for Bayonetta, I wondered what people thought of her, thanks for including him though!

I feel the exact same about Shadow. I don't hate the character in his series at all. But I do dislike the idea of any new Sonic rep in Smash Bros.

I'm not at all surprised Cranky Kong is the most voted for character.

He's definitely lovable.
But very few people actually want him over both King K Rool and Dixie Kong.

He'll probably continue to have the most votes.
I'll tally up the votes some day when I'm bored (which will probably be soon after vacation)

Well they aren't really a character, that you can love.
Seems like you either want them in Smash, or you don't.
And you like them if you want them, but if you don't, you don't.

And I'd say there's a 60% chance we'll get a Zelda character, but that's just me.

King Boo: He's perhaps my most wanted boss, but I don't think he warrants a playable fighter spot.
Kamek: He's a pretty cool villain, but there are just better candidates out there.
Dixie Kong: She's a good character and one of my preferred Kongs, but I really want to see K. Rool, and I think Cranky would be awesome as well. She just can't stack-up.
Tom Nook/Isabelle: I used to want Tom Nook, but Villager got in with the exact move set I had in mind, and that's good enough in my eyes. Isabelle is good "sidekick," but she's not someone I see fighting in a brawl.
...and Groose. He's one of my top ten favorite video game characters, but really? He's not a fighter (part of his character is the acceptance of the fact that he isn't the hero), and he doesn't really have much of a moveset. Still, I hope he at least gets a trophy; THAT I want to read.

There are lots of characters that I like, but don't want to see in SSB. Like some people have already said, this usually falls to characters that on a grand scale are rather small parts of their series - like Ghirahim - or characters that I think would require too many compromises to be playable.

People hate her because different people like her because animal bewbs.
She's not likely, but I like and support her, so I didn't vote for her.

Like others here, I like Shadow, but I don't think he should get a spot in Smash...in fact, I don't really want a second Sonic character to begin with, so I also would say Tails, Knuckles, and Dr. Eggman.

And while I didn't vote for her for some reason, I like Daisy but would be disappointed got in over other Mario characters such as Toad or Bowser Jr.

But most notable of my choices boils down to Cranky Kong and Genesect. Cranky Kong is comedy gold, and Genesect is more of a respect. I find Genesect's design to be fugly but I know he has his fans as well was good stats. Cranky Kong loses his humor value in the types of fights the Smashers are involved in, so I'd rather he be an assist trophy.

Well, I pretty much just voted for all the characters that I rather like in their respective games, but I just don't think they have the merits to make it on the roster. For me, that would be characters like Ghirahim, Midna, Zoroark, Magolor and Tharja, to name a few. I like them fine, and for most of them quite a bit, but just because I personally like them doesn't mean they deserve to be in the game.

True, pretty much all Pokemon newcomers seem less desirable because they'd mean no Mewtwo.
And there are a lot of cool Pokemon. So I'd imagine many would feel this way about them.
