C-Stick Player 3 problem?

I´ve been having some issues with the player 3 c-sticking. Sometimes it doesn´t work. It works fine in the character select menu, where you can turn the screen in any direction with no problem what so ever. But when playing, the input sometimes fail to apply.

At first, I thought the controller was broken, but then the other controller had the same problem (both are controllers I let people borrow) so then I bought new ones, and my old main controller became a borrow one for my friends. Still, the same problem.

Anyone else notice this?

False alarm, seems like my friend used my suspicions to John when losing with my old main-controller, while in reality it worked just fine..
Still, the c-stick on the other old controllers work in character select screen but not in game (l-smash). I suppose this has to do with some internal problems with the stick? Like it registers movement, but not enough to count as a smash?

I am also having problems with c-stick not working all the time- I do not think it has to do with the controller

this is a known issue. it happens if the stick isn't centered, due to the way brawl reads cstick inputs ingame. mine does this frequently but works fine in melee.
