Bring the Stars Down Under - BAM 8 Donation Drive

Couch Warriors Presents… Battle Arena Melbourne 8!

After the enormous success that was Battle Arena Melbourne 7 (BAM), the series is back for 2016 and with it comes a slew of international stars. This time, however, it’s Smash for Wii U’s turn. Having huge names including C9 | Mang0, TSM | Leffen and S2J come to Australia was massive for the scene, giving the often ignored Australians a place in the international spotlight. The hype for BAM 7 was real, especially with Southern Hemisphere hero Spud knocking Alex19 out of the tournament.

Moving forward to 2016 now, funding has received an incredible reception thus far. With two donors providing over $1000 each, the BAM TOs have already secured four players to come down south: Nairo, Ally, Mr. R and ESAM. However, funding is yet to finish! The donation drive is currently only $850 from securing Abadango and with two days of funding left, act now and bring Abadango to Australia by following this link!

BAM 8 is set to be the biggest event in the Southern Hemisphere and is not only set to decide who Australia’s greatest talents are but also to see how the Aussies stack up with those halfway around the world. BAM is an extremely important event due to the international attendance as it is very rare for players from Australia to play outside of their country. For the Australian players it means an opportunity to learn from the best in the business and a chance to compare Australia’s meta to that of the rest of the world. For the internationals, they have the chance to visit a developing scene and leave their mark on Australia's up and coming players.

Maribro is extremely excited for BAM 8 and is hoping he can afford the time off uni to play himself. Send your prayers to @LHC_Maribro
