Brawlbox Help

I'm kinda new to Brawl Modding in general, but I tried to edit some models, and it went great. I put the FitCharacterXX.pac and .pcs in the character's folder, and when I open the files up it shows the model I made. But, when I use the character in game (I edited a pre made model) it uses the model without the edits. Please help!
