its the best question in the game jexs, think about how you reacted to to it, then look at hotcakes, then think to yourself what you'd expect him to do in each alignment situation

Also, I think the only one poised against me atm with any seriousness is hotcakes as RYu's still goofing around which is fine unless it goes too long, but we'll get to that if it happens

Rake just for future reference, don't tell me things like this. If I roll scum you're telling me what to change to stay on your good side.

You think Hotcakes is legit scum?

He thinks it's a stupid question. Not telling to me.
*how you reacted in the ongoing mini, and what happened as a result
How I reacted in the mini I will explain when that game is over.

I think you're misreading his reaction but that's fine, how do you feel about his attitude toward pushing me

I think he's annoyed? Since you're asking him what he perceives as a useless question.

Hey guys, everyone has confirmed I believe.

The game will start at some point today.

Can I kindly ask, until then, to refrain from posting until I post the opening flavour!

If I ninja anyone, can I ask you don't follow up on any posts you've made after mine.

Hope to have this game started soon.

DANKE!

Day 1

13 individuals wake up unexpectedly inside the confines of, what looks like, a rather lavish casino. Hundreds of slot machines are scattered about, as well as tables of poker, blackjack, baccarat and roulette. A funky jazz bar can be seen right in the centre, playing some swish music.

"Why am I wearing a suit?" someone shouted.

Looking around, everyone was dressed smartly in glitz and glam as if an expensive occasion had just passed.

“My shoes have never been so shiny” shouted another whilst doing a cheeky tap dance.

All was calm, but there was an air of suspicion floating around as if the situation was far more complicated. An awkward silence settled as people stared around, clueless.

Wait a minute... what's that over there?”

One of the casino tables had a big red button. It appeared to be glowing a dangerous red. Engraved on the table were the words 'DO NOT PRESS'.

“Right, sooooo.... we're not pressing that. I definitely think we should all sit down and get to know each other first instead because----”

*BEEP*

"Awwwww ****-"

A hole in the table had opened up. A beam of light shot up from within the hole to reveal a holographic picture of a strange grid of numbers. The numbers were arranged in the following order:

A megaphone descended from the ceiling and hung above the table. Suddenly a voice spoke:

"Greetings everyone! Do you know what time it is?"

Everyone checked their watches and phones to find the time had stood still at exactly 14:26. When people checked the date, it would consistently read 23/08/4014... 2 thousand years later!

"This must be a dream" someone shouted, as they took a seat around the table in a state of delirium. There appeared to be exactly 13 seats, enough for everyone.

"Please, everyone, take a seat," spoke the voice from the megaphone.

Everyone took to their seats and waited for more instructions.

"We're going to play a game of bingo. The board you see before you looks like a bunch of numbers. However, behind those numbers lie your very own names. Some of those names belong to bad people. It is your duty to find out who these bad people are..."

"Bad people?"

"That's right. Some of you are not as nice as you let on. But first, let's get started. I have a tool that will help you all out."

"Look familiar? This is a magic 8-ball. Whoever holds this ball can pass it around at the end of every phase in the game. They simply have to Give the 8-Ball to: [NAME OF PLAYER].

Now, for simplicity, I will give this to the player who is positioned at number 8."

The Magic 8-ball falls into the hands of Chaco. Chaco's number is revealed to be Number 8.

"See what the Magic 8-ball does? Whoever holds it will have their number revealed."

[MOD NOTE: In gameplay, if you have the ball during the Day, you have to give it to someone in here before the Day ends. If you have the ball during the Night, you have to give it to someone else before the Night ends. Numbers are announced at the start of each next phase.]

"Now, let's start the game. Put forward a name you think belongs to one of the bad people. Let's see see what happens. One more thing... Good luck."

We should try to see what happens once we get a row revealed. IDK if we need to get 3 or 5 in a row but it doesn't matter. The 8 ball should be given to mofos who are unlikely to be lynched or nightkilled, that way we guarantee a row is alive when it gets shown in case that has an effect. I'm pretty sure I know who I want Chaco to give to it to but I'll say the name later this phase.

Vote: Mac
FOS: Rake

Never played in a Bingo before, sooo

@ Kantrip Kantrip do you mean opposed to naming who gets the 8 Ball in thread, or what exactly? I agree with Marshy really, and from what it sounds like as do you. What I'm not getting is the part your opposed to since the pass has to be named in thread and is the beacon of public info.

I am opposed to actively trying to make a row out of confirmed player numbers. We have no reason to believe doing so carries a mechanical benefit for us, and historically mafia has gotten a bonus from killing everyone in a straight line. Letting them know who that is benefits mafia.
