Chaco still needs to be discussed between me and hardbody, and this is relevant to Rake's alignment.

You did, but stuck by it as the reasoning essentially because I've already adressed your claims of his scumminess. Bringing someone to L-1 for the good of town is what? Pressure. Later you say he disguises his content with mass amounts of fluff and essentially making no point. That's the issue I addressed primarily, your attack HAD NO BASIS. No merit at all. Why? (Which is what you seem to miss explaining a lot.) You say he's fluffing up content in retort, but there's hardly ANYTHING to respond from you that's not. You've been grasping hard all day, and you're giving others a free pass by asserting yourself so hard bullheadedly that you tend to dominate content of the thread and allow others to easily sheep and lurk.

Now, I've given you legitimate reason to back off of Rake. Ample reasoning as to why, besides your claims, that your wagon is solely meant for pressure. (As you reiterated and then called me a jester... lol) I'm not reading you as scum because of the frustration, but truthfully that's it.

His wishy washyness was the cause for me to target him, he just went into flailing overdrive, producing all the fluff he could muster for thread presence. His favorite phrase was "[insert slot/action here] was interesting, he was constantly saying things to say things without actually taking firm stances beyond the grimey push on hotcakes and the even grimier push on marshy (which wouldn't have been so grimey but he was so hesitant to actually pull the trigger). He didn't even directly address the allegation, he just started producing fluffier and fluffier content.

Argh, I was talking with hardbody about it before though, Chaco's interactions with him is literally the only thing giving me pause about that slot, the only interpretation that makes sense to me is a scum trying to "confirm" himself by defending a doomed townie.

that said im pretty happy with this lynch anyway cuz rake deserved to die for the **** he did in this game. hopefully we can flesh things out more tomorrow for later phases tho

Don't really care about deserving, just care about whether or not he's scum. Glad we're on the same page though, should've just grabbed the bull by the horns but wanted a second opinion cause too concerned about derailing the rake train.

Speaking of which, chaco should probably be dealt with during the day, he's said a lot, is really scummy and will generate a lot more info then an inactive policy lynch. Especially since Mac's really dangerous if left to the endgame if we know nothing about him.

So now that I can actually make a post here,

I do like the fact that adumb is not only *gasp* actually providing reasons against rake, but is actually considering avenues that aren't rake. That's something I'd wish I'd see more of on the rake bandwagon (If it wasn't incredibly obvious, this wagon is ***).

I also like chaco. Even if there is some tuff that seems misguided (him vs Adum, for example), he's shown himself to be actually laying out a logical thought process as to his scum read as well as acting town. This is stuff that a lot of players in this game are doing a piss poor job of.

What I don't get is why his questioning of Hotcakes is so dammning.

In the ongoing DnD mafia, Rake pulls a gambit on Jexs. Thhat gambit turns out to be ludicrously successful, as jexs reacts in the worst possible way, allowing him to dayvig jexs and get scum killed less than 24 hours into day one. This is the first D1 since then, and we have another player who's new to mafia. Is Rake going to try and duplicate what he did, in hopes of achieving the same success?

I'd be more surprised if he DIDN'T start off the day with some sort of gambit. That's why I find the fact that he was put to L-1 less than 24 hours after that so ridiculous (and IIRC, adumb is the only player who's been giving reason that don't have to do with the question).

#HBC | Rake., immediately sensing danger, took off like a scalded cat. He surveyed the casino once more and noticed a mystery door in the distance. As he tried to force it open, he took a quick look back only to find everyone else had surrounded him.

"IT"S LIKE I'VE GOT A ****ING NEON SIGN POINTING AT ME!"

"But Rake... you do!"

"WHAT THE ****?"

Just as he shouted those words, the neon sign overheated, causing a flurry of sparks to rain down on him. At first the sensation was interesting, but then after the sparks came molten mercury, which oozed all down his face.

Poor him.

As his body slowly melted away, the voice from the megaphone spoke:
"See? That's what happens when you put forward someone's name to the board. Let me scan him for some details..."

*BEEP*

"Are you ready for this?"

The Events of Night 1​

It was a dark, dark Night. The mood in the casino was eerie after Rake's death. No one could truly relax.

As everyone slept, footsteps could be heard.

"Yo! What was that?" murmured a certain someone.

This certain someone went to investigate the noise. They looked around the casino and noticed the mystery door that Rake tried to pass through was now opened.

"Smoke?"

They walked through the door and noticed a trail of smoke seeping down a long corridor. As they walked through, the smoke became thicker. Soon it had completely covered them.

"***** mother ******, I can't see ANYTHING..."

They tried retracing their steps, but it was too late. They had completely lost their way!

Suddenly the footsteps could be heard AGAIN.

They got closer...

and closer...

and closer...

and...

...They were knocked out DEAD! But who was it that died?

In the morning, everyone gathered at the bingo table. To their horror, there was a body on the table. Everyone gasped, looking visibly shaken up!

"Sad, isn't it?" The voice on the megaphone spoke.

"He was a cool guy. But the game must play on. You know about the bingo board now, and I will pass you one final piece of information."

Suddenly the voice on the megaphone began to deepen, turning into a sinister voice!

"Those bad people did this to you. They planned this whole thing. They picked where each and every one of you will be positioned on the bingo board!"

Everyone gasped again, realising the seriousness of the situation. With all the pieces of the puzzles coming into place, they were ready to play the game again. They looked at the board and noticed another number had its light turn red!
