Bair Spiking (A Visual Guide)

There have been threads explaining how to spike with bair: with the tip of Lucas' foot. But one thing I noticed is that it doesn't tell you how to apply that, or show in what situations they should be used. So this is why I made this thread.

First, I will show you how NOT to use the bair spike. One thing that happens is that at first you may be really cautious offstage at first, but later build up confidence and skill (this has happened to me).

You must jump high, not slide off.

How to do it:

The part of Lucas' bair that spikes is at the tip of his foot, or inside the curve. It can be hard to pull off, but is oh so satisfying.

If you knock somebody far, it is very difficult to pull off the spike. You need to set it up, as shown in the above video. You must get above your opponent, getting next to them will result in knockback but no spike.

Hitting with the bair and not spiking is common. If you don't spike, don't give up! Use your second jump backwards and try again.

Bair Spiking don't need a guide...
like.. you just gotta hit the person when Luca's foot curves...
it's like kicking a soccer ball or.. SPIKING a vBall

you mean with the tip of his foot. it can hit at any point during the curve as long as u hit with the tip
and in my guide to lucas (that wont be done soon) will hav how to spike with bair
