What was Avalon IVMelee / Brawl / Project M / SCV
After visiting asia for three months(securing a 2nd place at a japanese local in the process) Marc returned to host the 4th edition in the Avalon series at community centre De Patio in Zoetermeer. Since Remen extended his stay in Japan I managed the setups, ShadowTI ran Brawl/ProjectM and Adam Soul Calibur 5. Attendees could also enter a raffle for a bowser figure imported from Japan. The tournament coincided with Evo 2014 which meant top european players like Armada, Leffen and Ice were absent. Despite this, about 120 players in the venue and a price pot over €1000,- would make this the largest Avalon yet with a lot of newcomers in attendance and a healthy amount of out of state entrants.

Fun fact: Near the end of the tournament we streamed Evo on 3 big flat screens on the wall while a crt showed our nation battle for a third place at the FIFA World Cup. Naturally interest for the soccer game wasn't very high
