Description:
Since this tournament is the Tournament of Champions, all the players that have won a tournament in singles can come in venue free! Doubles champions will get this same privilege soon. This tournament is the den where champions can fall, can rise, or can be reborn.
This the 6th tournament presented by Prelude To Smash. This event will be hosted at the Wyndham Garden Houston hotel. This is the same venue as last time and will be located off highway 249 next to a dairy queen, and the Preston wood neighborhood. Also Please bring set ups! We can take at least 20 set ups or more depending on the capacity. The venue can hold at least 90 people. So bring all your friends to this once a month event. We also try and squeeze in a separate game to play, but that will be decided soon.

Schedule for August the 27th:
- 11:30 p.m. Doors open
- 12:00 p.m. 1v1 and 2v2 registration
- 12:30 p.m. 2v2 tournament begins
- 2:00 p.m. 1v1 tournament begins
- 10:30 - 11:30 p.m. Depending on if the tournament ends early, then Friendlies and other side events can be chosen to be played until the venue closes.
Rules:
- 7 minutes for each match
- 3 stock
- stage striking is allowed
- you are given two stage bans
- gamepad is not legal
- Custom Miis are not legal. Only vanilla 1111 mii characters are legal.
- you will only be given two warnings for not de-syncing your wireless controller. We need to keep to the schedule so we can end on time, and also for whatever event we come up with after the tournament.
Raffle information:
With the purchase of venue, you will receive a raffle ticket. All additional raffle tickets can be purchased for only $1.00. The tickets can be put into any cup that has a label of the prize. The prizes vary from $10 value and up. Once we can gain enough support from the community, we can hold bigger raffle events for all our future events! The winners of the raffle will be announced before the main event, which is of course the 1v1 tournament. Here are some of the prizes!
