This isn't my tournament, but it was on Facebook with little promotion on here. So sorry about the short notice, guys. I'll clean up the details that don't concern Smash later on.

General Rules:

Unless otherwise noted, all games will be best of three rounds, double elimination brackets with best of five for the finals. Winners may not change any of their selections. No exploits, bugs, stalling or unsportsmanlike conduct. Breaking any of the rules will result in a game loss and potentially disqualification. Any player who is more than five minutes late to their assigned matched will be given a match loss; more than ten minutes will be given a set loss. If any game attracts less than six participants, it will be dropped and any remaining players will be refunded the entry fee for that game. No coaching is allowed during an active game and participants repeatedly seen breaking this rule will be removed from the event without a refund.

Game Specific Ruling:

Blazblue: Chrono Phantasma
- 60 Second Time Limit
- Random stage selection unless both players agree on a specific stage.
- No Unlimited Characters

Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition
- 60 Second Time Limit
- Random stage selection unless both players agree on a specific stage.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
- 60 Second Time Limit
- Random stage selection unless both players agree on a specific stage.
- Winner may not re-select but may reorder their team by holding an assist during the loading screens.

Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate
- 60 Second Time Limit
- Random stage selection unless both players agree on a specific stage.
- Danger Zones are on.
- Experimental Playground stage is banned.
- Hayate's Cartwheel is banned.

Super Smash Brothers: Melee
  • 4 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit
  • Starter Stages: Yoshi’s Story, Fountain of Dreams, Final Destination, Battlefield, Dream Land.
  • Counter-pick Stages: Pokémon Stadium.
  • Wobbling' with the Ice Climbers is allowed.
  • Infinitely freezing with Ness is banned.
  • Coin flip decides which player may choose to ban a stage from the list. The loser of the flip will pick the first stage.
  • You may not choose a stage on which you have already won unless mutually agreed upon.
  • No stages will be banned during best of fives.

Super Smash Brothers: Brawl
  • 3 Stocks, 8 Minute Time Limit
  • Starter Stages: Battlefield, Final Destination, Lylat Cruise, Smashville, Yoshi’s Island (Brawl).
  • Counter-pick Stages: Battleship Halberd, Pokemon Stadium 1, Castle Siege.
  • All infinite combos and chain grabs are legal with the exception of Meta Knight's dimensional cape trick.
  • There is a 35 Ledge Grab Limit for all characters. If a game goes to time and one player goes over the Ledge Grab Limit for their character, they will automatically lose the game. If both players exceed their Ledge Grab Limit, then this rule is ignored.
  • If the match ends with both players dying at the same time coincidentally, or if time ran out with both players at equal percent, a one stock three minute rematch will be played on the same stage. For a tie-breaker match, a Ledge Grab Limit of 15 is used for all characters.
  • No scrooging (player may travel under the stage only once from the ledge). **

** “Traveling under the stage once from the ledge” is defined as dropping off the ledge on one side of the stage and reaching the height of the original ledge on the other side of the stage.

When one of the players is attacked by the other and takes damage, the “no scrooging” rule does not apply.
The moving platform on Smashville or any platform that is not the main stage (Battlefield platforms, Castle Siege platforms, etc.) are considered to be equivalent to a ledge, i.e. if a player starts from the moving platform on one side of the stage and travels beneath the stage to the ledge/platform on the opposite side of the stage, the player may not travel beneath the stage back to the ledge/moving platform on the opposite side before until he lands back on the platform.

If a player is found to be performing the act of scrooging by a tournament organizer (by his/her discretion), the player will forfeit that match.

Super Smash Brothers: Project M 3.0
  • 4 Stock, 8 Minutes
  • Starter Stages: Battlefield, Final Destination, Smashville, Pokemon Stadium 2, Dreamland (64), Fountain of Dreams, Yoshi’s Story (Melee), SSE: Jungle.
  • Counter-pick Stages: Yoshi’s Island (Brawl), Pokemon Stadium 1, Lylat Cruise, Wario Camauri Ware, Green Hill Zone, Skyloft, Skyworld.
  • Giga Bowser is banned.
  • If the match goes to sudden death due to a suicide move (Ganon’s side-B, Kirby/DDD’s swallow, holding someone in a grab on a platform as it moves out of the boundaries, etc.), the one who initiated the move wins.
