I think you should just do what you feel is best for prizes. The Amiibos are cool and I like the other Considerations. I think everyone will be happy with whatever the prizes are when we get there. I noticed you put equipment on Amiibos, I don't think that will be such a good idea as you can make it so they 1 shot everything.

i kind of have to because the amiibos that participated last week had equipment and im not going to have people re train their amiibos just to be part of a tourney

To what was the extent? Because it can easily be made into whoever can one hit the other first. As long as the stat buffs don't go over like 20-30 then it doesn't make to much a difference.

I think that a pool works best for prizes in my opinion. Just take a percentage of the entry fees and split between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Just my 2 cents! I'm mainly doing it for fun though so not super concerned.

How about 1st gets $25 or a prize equal to it, 2nd gets an Amiibo, 3rd gets free entry?
This would be for singles and doubles only, though. Amiibo will have to have something else because there aren't as many participants.

I mean I'll take one if I win it, but yeah a different prize would be optimal. But no need to go out of your way just for one player.

If you do win I wouldn't have a problem buying it from you for $20. That way you can walk away with some money and I can get an adapter.

Gold Mario? Toad? Wave 4 Pre Orders? Uncommons?
All of these would be legit. Honestly, pre-orders sound great to me. I really want to secure a Charizard for myself. I'm sure I can find a Wario after he come out.
