In the WiiU rules it mentions custom equipment and moves being legal, by equipment does that include equipment such as Smooth Lander that give changes beyond stat boosts?

Yes. All equipment and customs are illegal. No character modifications allowed

Every Sunday at noon indeed. Every Thursday at 6:00 we also do Project M and Melee. This Tuesday, we'll probably do a smashfest as well.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Since this Sunday is Easter Sunday, the April 5th weekly will be cancelled. Wii U will be moved to this Thursday on April 2nd. The location and rules are the same. Wii U will start at 6:00pm. The regular Wii U and Brawl weekly will resume on April 12th

If you can't make it out on that date, our Pre-Monthly event is this Saturday. It will feature Wii U and Wii U Doubles.

Wii U weeklies will go on a hiatus for the next two weeks (April 19th and April 26th). Wii U will be temporarily moved to Thursdays at 6:00pm. The schedule will return to normal on May 3rd
