Request to join the PNW Smash 4 facebook group. Most local/regional discussion happens on facebook these days. Northwest Battlegrounds (NWBG) is a monthly tournament that takes place on the first or second Saturday of each month, and usually holds Melee/PM/S4 (+various FGC games) singles, and Melee/S4 doubles. The venue is at Highline Community College, Des Moines, which is a maybe 30ish minute drive from Seattle. Next one is this coming Saturday (9/13), but there's always next month if you can't make it on such short notice lol.
