Smash Wii U All Star Hard Challenge - Co-op?

Hey all, quick question -

Can I run through beating all star on hard with the remaining characters with a friend (co-op)?

The challenge itself doesn't say anything like "alone" or "solo" like it does for beating it on Solo True All Star Hard with Duck Hunt.

Wanted to know if anyone has tried it. Figure I could get it done quicker and give my friends and I another Smash goal.

Yes, it works. A friend of mine and I tried it, and it works. So long as the challenge doesn't say solo, you should be good.

Just as a tip, you'll know if you can clear the challenge in Group mode if you do not see "Solo" on the challenge.

How to keep track of what characters you've finished it with though?

How to keep track of what characters you've finished it with though?

Check if their score is above a certain number. And if you ARE going for the challenge I'd recommend starting left and going right (i.e. starting at Mario, then Luigi, ......... ending at Sonic) I mean either way you'll clear them all out anyway.
