To get yourself down in the smash locater, just post where your city is close to, city, boards name, and your mains(try and keep it to three.) To account for school, if you go to school in a different city, list that too. If someone is not in one list but in the other, they are out of state for that part of the year.

First of all thanks for all the input, especially the positive stuff.
Now for some more specific stuff. Smashlogics, the reason i dont put counties is to help those of us who don't know where every county in florida is. do you know where Gadsden, Okaloosa, and Pasco county are? Most people have a general concept of where large cities are. Thats why its not counties. Also
meleeguy: im sorry if you were insulted by my comment, i was just surprised that something that is a basic as float canceling had not been used by any peaches you had played. But yes absolutey i would like to play you, i liked your fox, it was very solid, i didnt know you could DSHL-thats impressive.

Florida Crews

GSPOT:
GSPOT was FL smash. Towards the beginning of the tournament scene, they were relatively active, and went to many OOS tourneys, (Lumbro, Goldwing, Delaini, Derigo, Halo5God, and Motar crammed into one car.) Although never very active on the boards, whoever met them would remember them after the matches. They are the beginning of FL smash.

Goldwing: Had to put him first as he still goes to tourneys. The only remaining tourney goer of FL's most famous crew. Plays Marth, and a little bit of CF. He and Lumbro, although never great in singels, were/are well know for their team: Sloppy Seconds.
Lumbro: Plays fox almost exclusively for tournaments. He also has a decent Samus and others. Will still play, but no longer attends tournaments. Arguably FL's best smasher for a while when he still went to tourneys.
Delaini: Plays Falco. Placed highest at the last tourneys in which the 4 tourney going Gspot members attended. Arguable FL's best smasher. Delaini has moved away from Gainesville, and has been sucked into WoW last I heard. He says he might have to pick up Falco again when the revolution comes out.
Derigo Plays Fox, and has an exceptional bowser. Still plays, but has moved away from Gainesville. Occasionally comes back and visits, and will play with Lumbro and Goldwing (and other Gvillians.)
Flamewind The 5th member of Gspot. Plays Mario, did not go to many tourneys, as he lacked a solid team partner.

Team FORT (as written by Rockcrock)
(est. 2004)--Queen and myself are the only frequent tourney go'er's. Queen and I are infamous for using the joystick to jump, and having amazing technical abilities.

RockCrock: (Fox) 7th at MLGO, winner of FORT1, top 3 at recent tourneys. Arguably Best Fox/Ganondorf in Florida.
QueenDVS: (Marth) 5th at MLG Orlando. Best Marth in Florida. (Wants to be known as worst member of TEAM FORT)
CozaMonkey (Samus) No significant placings. No recent tourneys. Best/Only Samus? (exarch edit: several other Samus's in FL )
LoserLad (Fox) Well he's a cool guy...

Wolf Assassins (as written by Maverick)
WA was originally the combination of two crews. Wolf Pack, and Smash Assassins. Hence, Wolf Assassins. However, because no members of the Smash Assassins are left in the crew, there is a possibility that the name can change.

Maverick: Is known for bringing to life the South FL smash community. Attends tournaments frequently, and is known for hosting big FL tournaments. Always places high in tournaments, and has no real main character, prefering to go counter style when possible. He has also been known to camp to win matches on occation.
FlowinWater: Arguably the best Falco in the state of FL. Known to place top 3 quite often. Has hosted a few South FL tournaments. He and Maverick are the current team champions of South FL.
Question aka Johnny: Newest member of the WA, plays only Marth in friendlys and tournaments. Was the highest placing FL Marth at the last big FL tournament, so arguably the best Marth in FL. Prides himself on ****** the fast fallers and his chaingrab skills.
SheikSSBM: One of the top Shieks in FL. Was the highest placing FL shiek at the last big FL tournament. He doesn't attend to many tournaments but generally places top 10 when he does attend one. Picks only Shiek in Tournaments.

Smash Veterans Crew
A relatively new addition to the Florida smash scene, this crew has been tourney active since FORT1--06/18/05.

SmashMac: One of the newer Falco's to the smashscene, yet still one of the many good FL Falcos and the leader of SVC. Since FORT 1 has majorly improved, and is probably known for his good edge mind games.
DashizWiz: One of the good Falco's in FL. Usually just fights the renown ones in FL. and is very techinical when it comes to skill.
KeepspeedN: Possibly one of the best Sheiks in FL. Has played most sheiks and the only one that he can't tend to beat so far is SheikSSBM. Has been majorly improving on technical skill and is probably known for his mellow attitude when it comes to a challenge.
BETA: Is pretty much known as one of the best if not the best Yoshi in FL. Has improved with his Yoshi skill, and also tends to be pretty tech savy when it comes to skill as well.
Risu: The Marth in the crew. Has not been to any of the recent tournament's but is expected to be at the S.A.C.S. issue #1 tournament. Has an over-average Marth, and tends to train mainly by himself since his partner quit.

The Hate Crew
Not technically a crew, but have competed in crew battles, and several of their players deserve recognition, so they're in here.

Green Mario: No relation to Brown Mario, except in skill maybe. Best mario in FL. Exremely fun to watch, and places well at tourneys (assuming decent brackets). Somehow manages to have extremely close matches in every tourney.
XIF: One of the better peaches in FL. Prides himself on ability to wreck fastfallers. Plays Zelda as secondary, just a pimp in character choices.
PunisherX: One of the better CF's in Florida. Somehow manages to place high in a state riddled with space animals with the Captain himself. Master of the Falcon Punch since ZP chp 2. He should probably be in another crew judging by his sig, but we'll let him tell me that himself.
the_erick: Plays Samus better than most people in FL. Not too sure on specifics here.
Fuzz: Plays Ganon, and I haven't even played him to give you as much specifics as I have on the_erick.

Knights of the South(as written by Jit)

Noucles: Arguably the best Fox in Florida. Placed 1st in Omnismash, 2nd in FORT1. Usually places top 5, although he has never been to an OOS tourney. Most Frequent tourney goer in South Florida with his brother and teammate, Lambchops.
Lambchops: On the fight for the best Falco with Flowin. Winner of ZP2 and 1st place teams in Omnismash with Noucles; team name "Space Animals," or "Roadkill." He became NEO's idol after his visit for Maverick's PAWS tournament, and his picture is rumored to cover a portion of NEO's room.
Jit: Barely gets a chance to play but has managed to remain a decent player nonetheless. Has hosted 3 smashfests with great turnouts. Regular tournament attendant although only once an entrant. The mistaken belief of him playing Young Link has led to many a downfall...
Lighted_Warrior (L_W48): The "master" of the original crew; noucles, lambchops, Jit, himself, El Zorro. Native of Virginia, has only attended a few FL tournaments such as Yanamie, where he lost in the quarter finals to Flowin. Now lives in Tampa because of college.
El Zorro: Away from the smash scene since the first Omnismash, his technical skills have only increased. You can find him showing off in Zero Ping regularly although he prefers playing with friends at home.
Pill_Pusher: Member? Joined the crew in his early days of smash, months before the original Omnismash. Has been somewhat absent at recent tournaments, but frequently plays at Zero Ping. Now a member of the "People who Lost Their Lives Playing World of Warcraft" crew.
SSBMKings: Seasonal member, lives in Colorado but represents KOTS whenever in Florida, visits regularly. Sick Sheik.
Gray_Fox: Newest addition to the crew, attended PAWS, Jit's smashfest, and some of XIF's. Jit's newfound team mate?

The Name Cancelled
The official reawakening of Central Florida Smash. This crew traces its roots back to a Kissimmee tournament, where it pulled a suprise 6 stock victory in a crew battle with some of South Florida's best. Probably the best crew in CFL, and one of the better crews in the state.

Exarch: The Crusher of Dreams: Arguably best Peach in Florida. Known for the Florida thread, and the Desynch guide for the Ice Climbers; which are his secondary.
DarkFalchion: Sandbagger Extraordinaire: Extremely technically precise Marth. Like most people in this crew, has only recently become recognized as a top player in Florida. I have watched this guy pick countless FFers apart. His offensive games is continually changing; making him and extremely difficult opponent... when's he's not nervous.
Fenrir: The Gimp Master: Formerly know as Meleeguy. His first tourney was January 2004. He plays an awesome Fox which wrecks with shine. Knows how to handle himself in every situation, an extremely strategically smart opponent.
Derf: The Werd: Plays multiple characters, his Luigi is amazing, and makes me wonder how its possible to play luigi any better. His CF the most controlled in Florida, possibly the best overall, but definitely the most adept at comboing opponents.
Nafix: Extremely smart smasher. Has taken the idea of getting in any hit without taking damage to an extreme, as he will often just look for an opening. His main, Fox, is one of the best characters for capitalizing on this, and this combination makes him a very dangerous smasher.
Hozart: Technicolor Ice: Joined the smash scene early, but left for a year. Recently rejoined, and now plays a scary set of Ice Climbers which have the strangest habit of improving everytime I see him. He loves his desynchs and just has something special (mindgame wise) which almost everyone else lacks.
TheLaw: Has not been playing competitively for very long, but similar to Hozart, improves massive amounts every time I play him. I have no idea what is going to stop him, because his skill shows no sign of slowing. His Falco is extremely cut-throat and will use any and everything possible to win.
Co_and_me: Unfortunately goes to school in GA, and so cannot attend most tourneys this crew gets too. Does make occassional FL tourneys in the school year, but is far more active in GA. A 'side member' of the crew, but every crew needs a samus. somewhere around top 5 in GA.
