500 dollar tournament in Colorado

Hey everyone, Me along with BBQ Penguin and 7734 are considering holding a durango area tournament with a 1st place prize of 500 dollars, but want to see if anyone would be up for traveling for it. It would be in July, around the 20th or so. Hoping people would be interested ^.^

Durango area, its a small town because I have a huge amount of space I can use for free there, plus there are lots of restraunts and such nearby ^.^ But it could be moved to Durango, its all still in the works, I just wanna see if I'd get a good turnout

i think more people will go if you move it to Aurora or denver somthing close to that becouse the majority of us live there. there is a good 15 -20 people there

Yeah, 500 min, I got a bunch of money to devote to something ^.^ However, I don't know anywhere in denver I could hold it at (no family or anything in that area) If you know anyone with the space, then yeah I'd love to do that.

I'd come to it, especially if it were in Denver. But I'm leaving Colorado on August 6th. So if it were sometime before then...oh, and Saturdays are bad for me. But I'll try and make it if possible.

I think this is cancelled due to 20th-22nd being OC3. And Dark_Meow is going to drive some of us colorado people there. So I'm not sure what's happening with this.

dark meow, since you're going to oc3 instead of holding this tournament, then you should register for it.

Oh yeah, I forgot OC3 was the same date, and I was attending that as well. You should hold this tourney a different date; I've been wanting to go to a tourney in Colorado ever since duha and his crew came down for T5.

Its not Duha, the difference between skills of mid Colorado and Durango(also Colorado but they're too far from us) is VERY wide. Seriously.
