Smash Club at UAB Presents:
Magic City Smash 4
The fourth iteration of UAB's bi-weekly tournament series.

This takes place on Father's Day so show everyone who's their daddy!

***There will be a venue fee of 5 dollars***
Venue fee can be waived with a set up.

Awesome news!!!
We are raffling off a custom controller at this next tournament. If you win, you choose what you would like the controller to look like. Raffle tickets are a dollar a piece. You may buy as many tickets as you want. Raffle will close and be drawn at 5. Please bring 1's if you plan on buying raffle tickets.
If at least 30 tickets are not purchased, raffle money will be refunded. Sorry, custom controllers cost money though.

This tournament will take place on Sunday, June 19th in the Ballroom of UAB's Hill University Center. The address is 1400 University Blvd, Birmingham, AL. The Ballroom is on the 3rd floor.

Parking:
There should be parking on the streets. Since it is a Sunday, you do not have to pay the meter. There is a small parking lot beside the university center but it will probably fill up rather quickly. There are plenty of metered spots on the street around the building as well.

Payout:
1st- 60%
2nd- 30%
3rd- 10%
IF MORE THAN 64 ENTRANTS: 1st- 58% 2nd- 28% 3rd- 9% 4th- 5%
Doubles will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd no matter the amount of entrants.

We will host Smash 4 and Melee AND Pokken! Double Elimination tournaments.

This event will be streamed at:
https://www.twitch.tv/bham_smash

Schedule:
[All times are subject to change]
1:00-Venue Opens
1:30- Smash 4 Doubles
2:00- Melee Singles
4:30- Smash 4 Singles (will start on time)
5:00- Melee Doubles (Only will occur if 4 teams or more)
5:30- Pokken
9:00- Venue Closes

Pokken Tournament will have a 32 person cap. Please bring a set-up if you have one.

Entry fee is 5 dollars per person for each event.

**There will be a 5$ venue fee at this tournament!**

We want to assure you that all money gained from venue fees will be put back into the series. This can range from, but is not limited to, providing free food and/or drinks in the future to tournament goers, better streaming equipment, or pot bonuses for bigger events.

This venue fee will be waived if you bring a full setup for either Melee or Smash 4 or Pokken! (TV, game, gamecube adapter for smash 4, and console). Everyone will be subject to this fee including the tournament organizers. We do not take charging a venue fee lightly and want to be crystal clear with where the money is going.

Melee Doubles will not be a registered event but if we want to have another small tournament like last time, I can make that happen easy. Just express interest during singles so I can get a rough idea.

Currently there is no rule against crossover entry from Sm4sh to Melee, but depending on time constraints or number of entrants, the tournament organizers reserve the right to prohibit crossover if it could potentially interfere with the speed at which the tournament is ran.
Crossover from Smash 4 to Pokken is extremely discouraged if you are still in the Smash 4 tournament by the time Pokken starts. We DO NOT want to slow down smash 4 do to time constraints. If you do register for both, please note that smash 4 has priority if you are needed to play.
