Welcome to the Rosalina vs. Mii Brawler match-up analysis thread. This thread will be used to analyze Rosalina's match-up against Mii Brawler. For all the rules on the round 2 match-up discussions, please refer to the directory thread.

Mii Brawler is able to use its custom special moves, even if customs are turned OFF. For this thread, however, both Rosalina and the Mii Brawler have to use their default 1111 spread for the match-up to count as being "Default only".

i dont have any personal experience or know much about this mu,so im not gonna input a score. but i did hear dabuz on stream say that default only rosalina wins the mu, with customs on mii brawler wins.

Default only is hell for Brawlers. If you happen to ever run into someone with a 1111 Brawler, Rosalina's gonna have a great time. Without one of the killing up-Bs, Brawler has an oddly difficult time netting a stock, meaning you guys get more rage.

 

[Dooms]

Yeah 1111 brawler is an easy win for you guys. No questions asked. We can't even side-b kill you guys because you all have luma. Down-b is useless because Luma, neutral-b is useless because Gravitational Pull. It's a REALLY bad matchup for default brawler lol.

 

[Mario & Sonic Guy]

Mii Brawler is being analyzed again for this week. If you have anything to contribute for the match-up, especially in regards to the newest software update, this is the place to do it.

 

[Dooms]

1111 is the norm, which isn't even a match up for Rosa honestly. It's practically a free win. Watch out for mix ups from short hop nair, watch out for kill tilts at 160-190, smashes will still kill but their range is absolutely abysmal (especially compared to literally anything Rosa has). His aerials are still good and he has like a combo or two to get you up to 50-60 but this match up is literally free. Side-b can kill at like 100+(it's the dash that turns into a multi-hit if it actually hits you), but you can literally di down and spotdodge/shield out of it half the time so it's not consistent enough for a high level brawler to rely on. >_>

1122 brawler is less free. Up-b OoS is painful, and if you're caught jumping from the ledge it can catch you. A strategy brawler has is to bait you into doing an option to read his ledge get up options, back off the ledge -> jump -> airdodge behind you, and then up-b you for the stock. Be wary of brawler when you're near the edge of the stage. Dtilt and dthrow combo into up-b early for good damage, but dthrow -> fair -> up-b is not a true combo with medium weight brawler. If you don't gravitational pull shot puts (neutral special), it will hurt luma quite a bit. If you can read what he's going to do with down-b, you can get a free Uair similar to ZSS down-b. Still in Rosa's favor by quite a bit.
