5:00 pm: Wii U Singles tournament begins
Tournament Format:
3v3ss Teams will be done double elimination bracket style
Singles will be Round Robin style, seeding two Double Elimination brackets Top 2 from each pool advance to a top bracket, other players may opt to enter the Amateur bracket.
*Pool and round robin matches are all best of 3
*Bracket matches, with the exception of Loser's Finals, Winner's Finals, and Grand Finals, are best of 3
*Loser's Finals, Winner's Finals, and Grand Finals are all Best of 5 matches.
Entry Fees:
Venue Fee = $5, (WAIVED if you bring a set up)
Tournament Fee = $5 (Crews is $5 per member)
Registration Fee = $2 (WAIVED if you pre-register)

*Pre-Registration is encouraged to give us an idea of attendants and to get the bracket and pools made early. All fees will be paid on site the day of the tournament.

Game rules:
WII U
SINGLES RULESET:
- 2 stock, 6 minute matches
-Customs are OFF.
-The tournament will have pools followed by two double elimination brackets, a pro bracket for the top 2 players from each pool and an Amateur bracket for everyone else.
- Sets are best of 3, except for Winners Finals, Losers Finals, and Grand Finals which will be best of 5.
- Stage Striking is done in a 1-2-1 fashion.
- After game 1 is finished. The following Stage/Character pick order is used:
1) Winner Bans 2 stages (One ban in best of 5)
2) Loser Picks Stage
3) Winner picks character
4) Loser picks character
- Dave's Stupid Rule will apply
-Dave's Stupid Rule Salty Clause: If you run back a loss on a stage that you lost on and Win the 2nd match that stage is reset from Dave's Stupid Rule
- No coaching in between games, only between sets.
- In the interest of saving time, please understand that tournament games get priority on sets over friendlies. Additionally, while you are welcome to leave/return to the venue between sets, if you take too long the Tournament Organizer retains the right to DQ you. It's in your best interest to let the TO know if you leave during tournament times.
- Any existing glitch that you exploit that gives you an unfair advantage is subject to an instant forfeit of a game, regardless of a lead, or potentially a DQ. YES THIS INCLUDES USING THE CORRIN INFINITE GRAB ON ZSS. We will take a strong stance on abusing exploits. If someone is abusing an exploit please call a TO immediately, if your game just ended due to an exploit, save the replay for the TO to view.

PROJECT M SINGLES RULESET:

* 4 stock, 8:00 minute timer.
* Input Assist set to OFF.
* Ties after the time limit are determined by stocks, then by percentage.
* Dave’s Stupid Rule: You cannot counter-pick any stage you have won on in a set unless agreed upon by the opponent.
* Dave's Stupid Rule Salty Clause: If you run back a loss on a stage that you lost on and Win the 2nd match that stage is reset from Dave's Stupid Rule
* I shouldn't need to put this rule in but Giga Bowser or Wario Man is banned for tournament play
* Sopo is legal if you are a masochist
* No coaching between games, only sets
Stage Strike from Starters for the first match of the set in “1-2-1″ fashion:
1. First player strikes one stage.
2. Second player strikes one stages.
3. The Remaining Stage is what is played on.
