Hackless Wii. I use the common way with a 2gb SD card and going to Brawl's stage builder.

Details: In the new Bowser's Castle stage, the Thwomp Blocks occasionally destroy the platforms on the sides of the stage (which isn't the bug). When they do, they make no noise. I was looking forward to a nostalgic noise. Not even the broken platforms make noise when they burst. If they do in fact make noise, then they are wayyy to quiet, but I'm pretty sure that this time, they aren't making noise.

Since it's over Mario Kart, is there a way to use the shy guy sounds for this?
Nope, it's on the Mario Kart slot, but it uses a Target Test (yes, target test) stage module. It won't be possible unless someone decides to try and figure out stage rel files :/

What about the sound of targets breaking?

If anyone can figure out .rel files, it's you guys

That would require a couple things:

  1. Finding out how to make rel ported stages get their SFX back
  2. Finding a way to break/respawn the targets in timing with the thwomps
Hopefully someday we'll be able to do it :p

invisible target inside the thwomp that gets hit by it.
Oh, you can break the targets, it's just that they make no sound and don't respawn. Also, changing the target sound would also screw up the sounds for the target test stages. Our best bet would be to find a way to make a sound happen on a timer. Unfortunately, we don't know how to do that yet.
