LARGE PICTURE

Name: Chalvo
Game Appearances: Chalvo 55 (Japan-Only) and Bound High (cancelled)
Owner: Japan System Supply

SPECIAL MOVES:

B: Push Punch (This move is based on his pushing move used in Chalvo 55, but with a punching accent.)

FORWARD + B: Fast Ball (Forms into ball form, and moves forward at high speed, knocking an opponent sideways toward the edges.)

DOWN + B: Rebound (Works only when in the air. Forms into ball form, and moves downward at an opponent. When the opponent is hit, Chalvo will rapidly bounce on the opponent for a very short time.)

UP + B: Curve Ball (Forms into ball form, and performs a move that is the same one that the professional baseball players use for their baseballs.)

Super Smash move: Bound High (Forms into ball form, and pounds the ground to move all characters upward, so he can hit them toward the sky.)

Taunt: Same as the second picture.

Here is his appearance in Bound High:

Neat, I love his design, it's like an unfolded Haro (Gundam series) for me! And his round form is based on Haro:

After reading some Bound High info in Wikipedia, I must to say that Chalvo's career was indeed "bouncy". Nintendo didn't wanted to market Bound High because VB was dead, even when they bought the Bound High license to Japan System Supply.
Then in 1997 JSS released Chalvo 55 for GB, but I think that game wasn't marketed by Nintendo. So Chalvo doesn't have many ties with Nintendo after all...

If Japan System Supply is out of business, then no Chalvo anymore. If Japan System Supply is still in business, they might create a Wii version of Bound High/Chalvo 55. If he really is a Nintendo character, then he might be one of the most (if not, the most) obscure Nintendo character in existance, making him very less likely to enter SSBB, even just as a trophy. Who knows? Japan System Supply might have changed their name to something else or was sold to another Japanese software/hardware company. I bet he would be pretty easy to convert to M.U.G.E.N., using his moveset I created.

I like him, looks pretty cool, but i dont think all his moves should be just bouncing. Looks like he can shoot stuff, has a jet pack or wings since he is a robot, he probably can have a wider variety of moves.

I'd absolutely love to see chalvo in brawl. Unfortunately, his chances of being a PC seem very small, given how sakurai has been giving the AT treatment to cool-yet-obscure characters.

*sigh*
only goes to show that SSBB would be a lot cooler if parrothead was making it.

Hey, there's always SSB4, right?

Eventually, Sakurai's going to run out of decent characters from big franchises, so the only way to get anyone else would be those cool-yet-obscure characters.
