Yes i am aware that my id on here says ryos4 but its only because someone is using negi. lol.

I recently found people to do some recording for me. But only just my replays, and most of these are kinda old. These arnt my best matches, but my basic style is there. Pit is just an awesome character. lol. Though i think i might love using his arrows a lil too much. Though i still dont consider it spamming. Also to note these are all online. lol. When i first started Pit. lol. Look how bad i was.

They oddly enough go from newest to oldest, top to bottom.

i watched the first two matches and one of your problems is not enough arrows. tif they hit you far shoot a few arrows. if you dash attack them shoot some arrows xD
oh and mirror shielding an firebal isnt the best choice as marios use this to approach and few marios just run at you on the ground which is where the fireball will be reflected. instead jump up and f-air mario. mario has a bit of a blindspot right infront of him as his f-air is a bit laggy and situational.

I do use alot of arrows. Just for some reason it doesnt seem like it. i like to stay away from spamming. I shoot when i feel the timing is right. I dont like to back up and unload on people either. My favorite style of arrows would be a ground arrow into a short hop arrow into a dash attack/grab combo. Light arrow edge guards too and sometimes with an arrow loop. I can aim pretty good with the light arrow, but i like to be really offensive. And yes i got pwned by my friend krystal and her mario. But that only happened once. lol, and shes a really good player.

Oh and if ur only gonna watch a few i suggest the ike vs pit. Both of them are really close.

ok i saw the first ike v pit but onething you need to work on definately is your grab game.
ikes are easil shieldgrabbed and their landing moves have alotta lag. arrows were fine in that game

Yeah grabbing isnt one of my strong points. Im not sure why but when ever i attemt to shield grab with pit i get pushed too far away. And by the time i get close enough to grab she dodges and then i leave myself open. lol. Im not sure why, but i really hate grabbing with pit. When i play charizard i grab all over the place.

Also when ever i play online i can never shield in time, so most of the time i try to just dodge things. For some reason i can dodge on time but i cant shield. Go figure.

Any ideas on making my grabbing game better for those who tend to dodge, aside from the whole pivot grab. Its probably just being able to read them better. Gah i rather just down tilt to a possible combo. Thx for the info though.

I watched all of them and I am going to comment on your latest one. You have a pretty solid Pit right now. You seem to know how to move with him. Now its time to add the AT's you know how to do into your game. I wish the Lucas player wasn't so weak but you are heading in the right direction.

Ya man it looks like you got the basics down, now just add some adv. techs and you should be all set.

I also agree you got all the basics you just need to be more aggresive with your edgeguarding you could have killed that Lucas while he was recovering or gimp his recovery.

lol ive recently been aiming for the pk thunder off of pit and ness. Ive hit it a few times so they cant recover at all. lol. Its kinda funny. Should i have edge guarded him. I felt kinda bad for pwning him so much, so i guess i let him come back. lol..

Advance techs that i do in battle are umm. Glide shifting, wing canceling, wing renewals, recovery reflecting, and umm arrow looping i guess. Oh i do alot of angelic dances. I really dont see the use of wing dashing yet. lol. And for some reason i cant perform the Art on purpose.

Thx for the tips though.

I hate having to double post, but i wouldnt notice it if it isnt new so im guessing most people wouldnt either.

Yeah i guess. Not that i practice. The new video is actually an older one. Someone just said that i needed to arrow loop, this is just proof that i can.

I really like the first kill, death by arrow loop. lol. You can only tell with the volume on though.

I also noticed that i did the "angelic dance alot", though this was before i even new it was a tech. It seems that most of the advanced techs just come out when i play. Except for the really technical ones, or just ones involving WoI.

Hmm new match from the recent pit only tournament on smash boards. Not too much new pit stuff sadly. Im playing too many new characters.

Yeah im still not that great at aiming arrow loops, but they still distract them. Though most of the time i rather just put more pressure on them instead of looping.

As for grabbing, idk i dont like pits grabs, when ever i try to shield grab, half the time i do it either to late or too early. Late allows their attack to push me too far away to grab them, or early makes me take the blow. I grab alot with a few of my other characters, link and charizard. But pits grab just fails me alot. Not to mention that its probably wont kill anyway.
