Capital Brawl Results Thread!

Hey all! The tournament is winding down about now (18 players left of 130+ at the time i'm writing this) and I figured I'd make a thread to let everyone know the results.

We'll have a full list up sometime tonite, but at the moment there are quite a few pros left (psychomidget and germ are battling away)

1st: DSF(Snake, Marth) Socal
2nd: Germ(Wolf) Norcal
3rd: Zelgadis(King Dedede) Norcal
4th: ZodiakLucien(Wolf) Norcal
5th: Bardol(Marth) Socal
5th: CBK(Donkey Kong) Reno
7th: KOF/Kawn(ZSS) Norcal
7th: PsychoMidget(Snake) Socal

I only know two people for sure who got ninth.

9th: Sidefx(Metaknight) Norcal
9th: SilentSpectre(CF/Ganon) Norcal

I have no clue for teams though

dsf and nezumi won teams....i think ajax and edge came in second.

Scamp and Psycho ****** came in second for teams. Ajax and Edge came in third.

I just wanted to make a shout out and thank everyone again for coming and making this tourney pretty excellent. Also wanna thank DBR for taking all of our money =-P. We will be running other tourneys and of course will be traveling ourselves can't wait to see you guys more on the circuit. Also special shout out to DSF Germ Edge Ajax Boback Hella and the other guy that was out Fireside lounge with us getting drunk. Good Times everyone. Also if anyone feels the need to come up to reno and gamble all thier money away lemme know i can definately house. =-) Good **** Everyone

ps wish I coulda gone but wasn't feeling it this weekend. Next time though...there needs to be a Peach up there in the top 10 ^_^

I am "Bardol." Capital Brawl was great, although singles did run relatively slow. I think I did surprisingly well for my first offline tournament, and I look forward to getting my revenge on a certain Wolf player in the future.

HUGE tournament, thanks again to everyone who ran it/made it possible. I can't wait to see the bracket.

I was very impressed with the general skill level. I met a lot of players with serious potential from several different places. I hope to see this trend continue in the Brawl community.

The venue was very nice too. One of the best venues I've ever been to for a Smash tourney, outside of Evo and MLG. But MLG just shoved us in the back, so I don't know if I count that.

This was a great tournament. All shout outs go to Nor Cal because we are kinda good. Nice job Reno players for holding a your first tournament so smoothly. Great venue, great players, great weekend.
