Fox Crash Lands in Brawl while Fire Emblem Strikes up an Orchestra.

Today’s update was a double update with a movie preview of part of the Subspace Emissary showing Fox’s fate after the Halberd knocks his Arwing down along with some orchestrated music for Fire Emblem’s theme. Diddy Kong is shown checking out the crash site of our favorite anthropomorphic galaxy dog, Fox McCloud. There is no explanation as to the whereabouts of Donkey Kong are, though it gave the impression they got split up somehow. With Diddy being petrified by the sight of Rayquaza, Diddy watches as this Pokémon blast the remains of the Arwing that sits there. Interestingly enough Rayquaza must have an appetite for monkey because Diddy is soon picked up by Rayquaza with him ready to devour him. Fox, unexpectedly (and somewhat over-dramatically) comes to the rescue.

<p align="center">In the same vein as Brawl’s own music is, Sakurai has decided to give a very highly flared ensemble of musicians to make up Fire Emblem’s music. In fact Sakurai even rewrote some lyrics which in English go a little something like this:</p>

Rayquaza has a good idenity in the Pokemon games. He brought Hoenn in peace by settling down Kyogre and Groudon.
Why is he acting against Diddy and Fox?

i wonder if Rayquaza will be a SSE boss, or just in that cutscene...

I totally called Rayquaza as a boss.

Also, Rayquaza appears to have stolen Lucario's move, Aura Sphere, since Deoxys stole Rayquaza's move, Hyper Beam.

I'm still stunned how fox's reflector totally bounced back Rayquaza's aeroblast.

Sorry, I know that's not the right move. Couldn't think of the actual name.

rayquaza knows both aura sphere and hyper beam. deoxys also knows hyper beam. Lucario knows aura sphere. they arent exclusive...

I'm pretty sure that move looked like Draco Meteor. Rayquaza can't learn Aura Sphere or Aeroblast, and Sakurai likes to keep Pokemon moves accurate.

He's gonna be a boss. Fox hits him then the fight begins.

I wonder why a relatively nice Legendary Pokemon that is renowned for living in the upper atmosphere, is attacking Diddy and Fox, and appearing out of a lake.

Btw, Rayquaza is the 3rd Generation equivalent to Mewtwo.

No he doesn't. Sine when did Withdraw do damage? And what the hell kind of attack is Pikachu's B move?

But I do see what you mean, it could be any number of attacks. There are loads to choose from, I don't think it was supposed to be any specific type of one.

umm, Ray is good, kyogre and Groundon would fit more, but they where controlled, Deoxys would fit more.

I seriously love the random *** team ups we are getting out of Subspace.

Maybe in the smash bros universe most pokemon are more like wild animals in that they just kind of attack and eat and etc.

I wouldn't doubt it, but I do doubt Rayquaza being playable if that's what you're alluding to. x:

You guys forgot that Mario "broke the world's rule" in that fight against Kirby. This was probably why every "Nintendo World" got kinda shaked and things are starting to get random, no?

So, Rayquaza wants to fix this. Afterall, he/she/it cares about the balance of the world.

Actually, the Subspace Army probably broke the rules, and Rayquaza is confused, so it attacks whoever. While Peach (or Zelda) and Kirby are safe at last, Mario and Pit teamed toghether, the Halberd is heading for Link and Yoshi, Diddy Kong and Donkey Kong spilt after fighting Bowser for some reason, and now Diddy Kong and Fox are fighting together. O the plot twists!

IT revealed the SE is an evil invading force trying to use the characters as an energy source by permanently turning them into statues and draining their energies...

The characters followed the rules perfectly...

Maybe that statement was referring to the villains or something...Who knows?

But it wasn't Mario

No I was suggesting that's how you would get diddy. The last thing we need is more playable pokemon.

The fact they used Rayquaza as an enemy is refreshi ng and awesome. I just hope Darkrai is still a boss. Still I always hoped that Rayquaza would be a stage ( a stage on a giant flying serpentine poke has to be awesome). Though a Rayquaza/stage would be awesome as well.

i thought rayquaziimoto would come out a pokeball....

i imagine monkey kong and king koopa are duking it out
