Thank you for submitting a New Student Organization Registration Form
and constitution to the Office of Student Involvement (OSI). This is
the first step toward determining if your organization will become a
Registered Student Organization (RSO) with OSI, and we are looking
forward to aiding you in the process. Please visit
http://www.osi.sdes.ucf.edu/clubsorgs/registrationprocess.html to
learn more about the organization approval process.
Until organizations are approved by OSI, they cannot perform any of the
functions listed on the privileges section
(http://www.osi.sdes.ucf.edu/clubsorgs/privilegesofregistration.html) of
the OSI website. However, organizations are granted one reservation
within the Student Union prior to approval. Once this reservation is
made, no more can be done until the group’s final approval by OSI is
received. Groups are strongly encouraged not to create an organization
webpage until approved.
Please also note that although the constitution may be approved, before
your organization can officially be registered through OSI, one officer
must attend an RSO Orientation session. More information regarding the
orientation and registration for the session can be found at
http://www.osi.sdes.ucf.edu/clubsorgs/studentorgorientation.html.
I will be contacting you within the next week to set up an initial
meeting to discuss the organization’s constitution. Please feel free
to contact me if you have any questions at any time during the
registration process.
Thanks,
