New Fox Tech? (Insanely useful for recovery)

I haven't tested this in a fight yet, but I noticed it when messing around with a friend.

If you use Fox's 2nd jump at the same time as a Fair, he actually seems to go higher!

Try it yourself!

(If this is something useful, I found it xD If it's already known, delete this thread please)

EDIT: You can actually do this out of your first jump too. With 2 normal jumps, Fox jumps halfway across FD. But with 2 of whatever these are called, You can make it across most of the stage!

Maybe this could be used to help prevent edgehogs?

I don't know if it's really a viable recovery at this point. But hey, it's vertical recover if you need it!

Its a risky way to recover, you still might be doing kicks when you get to the ledge, and might not grab it, I think.

Um, you grab as soon as the last kick finishes, which at the point, you shouldn't be falling yet.

^it helps you recover without using your 3rd jump (UPB) How can you not see a practical use...?

It does increase your vertical trajectory. Its useful if you're DJing from a distance and intend on up+bing to make it back. It'd be much easier to d.i. towards the stage and shine hover. Between each shine, if you d.i. closer and closer, you'll gain alot horizontal distance without falling that much - because of the speed of Foxes consecutive aerial shines.

& for this technique...think of it like Sheik's fair in melee. Its the exact same concept, if you do a move in the direction you're going, you have a bit more added momentum in said direction.

No problem...having someone doubt **** is good, cause it makes sure we get the other perspective (something most people on SWF don't seem to realize)
