I'm not having any issues wtih uploading an avatar. Is the image you're trying to upload particularly large, by chance?

well it is a bit large but not very large though, but i keep getting the error that something went wrong. i even tried it on a other browser, but same error.

Can you upload it in a regular post? Like just try it in a post draft somewhere, but don't actually post it.

i think i found the problem..i have it saved as a PNG file cause that's the best image quality..but it also makes the file large if the image is large.. i tried the regular post thing, and a JPG image does seem to work or a smaller PNG image

really? i thought it had to be 400 pixel as a minimum, i guess most sites are making me lazy since most accept any size these days lol

for your issue are you trying to upload pictures taken with your phone? those are often very high resolution and too big for our image uploader.
