idk, it's kinda hard to go back to the original Link's Awakening after playing the one on Switch.

Sounds like someone's been playing the wrong remakes to have this ***** of an opinion. Pessimists like you make me hate myself.

I dunno, Heart Gold/Soul Silver are what remakes should aspire to be, imo. They took already great games and just doubled down and made them even better. Easily the best games in the entire series, in my book. Link's Awakening is a fantastic remake that doesn't invalidate the old one but I wouldn't say the old one is objectively better than the remake. It's most certainly a case by case basis but generally the remakes take what made the originals fantastic and dial it up to 11 with the luxuries the original couldn't accomplish or afford back in their year.

@GamerZard I mean, I don't agree with the notion that all remakes are inferior to the original's either, but your reply was not necessary. It's his opinion and if you label other peoples opinions as ****, then to be frank, you're kind of an ass. And no offense, but your room to give other people crap for being pessimists is limited given how much you constantly complain about DK without realizing that you can just switch to a different character.
