Pilonidal Cyst on the base of my spine, it was very small and we caught it super early. Problem is the incision never healed since I had it removed so it's been a staggering 4 years of trying to close a wound after two surgeries including the first one.

If others reading this don't want to look up the condition on the internet (and you shouldn't), it's basically an ingrown hair that the body seals off and it gets infected/painful.

It is, Kofu. Which is why I am VERY glad we caught it before it did anything haha.

I like to watch medical shows and one of the episodes I've watched involved a young adult who had a pilonidal cyst that happened to pop up and kind of helped the doctors find a far more serious blood condition.
The detailed what the affliction was though so I knew what it was when you mentioned it.
