but in seriousness, I was just surprised that an arcing sword usmash had that little endlag. His usmash is basically a faster-but-weaker Ike usmash, right?

Rosa's has some flaws that frequently get glossed over but I can't deny that it's an amazing usmash and I wouldn't trade it for any other. Probably.

Kinda. One of his big flaws is that he can't cover behind him well. If usmash reached behind him to the ground, it'd be ridiculous. Same with utilt. I think that's one of the reasons Ike's usmash is so great.

It's fantastic though. Fast enough to use to challenge a SH read and covers above and behind him too.

I want to try Rosa on lava blocks.

Cloud's USmash seems to hit a little below and in front of him in the beginning.

Lava is a no. Trying it on Port town aero drive. I don't think it works. The rehit rate of PTAD track is really slow.

To elaborate a bit since I didn't say much about it, her normal landing animation will get her hit, so she has to be in the middle of GP to land on a damaging floor safely, and then immediately cancel its IASA into another action like shield, spotdodge, or more GP/star bits.

I figured it had to be in the middle of GP or something. When it didn't work I used a star to stand on the floor safely and then held shield. No luck.

my character is terrible and needs to be buffed

I forgot I was going to check Cloud's running animation. Switched to playing Mario Galaxy.

I should maybe play that game again

I actually really hated it because I went in expecting it to be more open like 64/Sunshine, but it ended up being pretty on-rails

I'd probably like it now without my false expectations
