Sonic Adventure 2 Battle has more types of missions for each stage, a better Chao Garden, and a better multiplayer mode, so I guess I would recommend that game more. The regular speed stages are great, most of the treasure-hunting stages are fine, and mainly Eggman's mech stages are good.

However, I prefer the way that the characters control in Sonic Adventure DX, and the GCN and 2004 PC versions have the Mini Game Collection, which contains all of the Game Gear games in the Sonic series.
